I find anatomy to be so amazing - yet some of the intricacies can be difficult to memorize and some of the body's processes can be challenging to comprehend. I feel confident that I can help you improve your skills in Anatomy.
I love helping students reach their full potential, and I do that by creating a program
I earned my BA in Psychology at University of Maryland, College Park, and earned my MAT in Secondary Education at Towson University, in Baltimore, MD. I have experience as a high school classroom teacher and have also worked with students from grades 4 and up in multiple subject areas, with much success.
I am friendly and very patient. I will set reasonable and clear expectations for you, which if followed, will lead to improvement in your independent learning. I look forward to meeting you.

With a bachelors degree in biology, I have studied a large majority of the natural sciences. I taught high school biology at Tippecanoe Valley High School and had the privilege to inspire the next generation of scientific minds. I currently tutor several college students in their more advanced classes, as well as high school students.
I have a bachelors degree in biology with a minor in art. After graduating college, I was a full-time high school biology teacher, volleyball coach, and director of the school musical. As a high school teacher, I learned first hand the kind of pressure and expectations that are placed on students in order for them to succeed. In college, I was the head student researcher on a two-year lab project. I took several upper level science courses including: biochemistry, calculus, organic chemistry, calculus based physics, cell biology, anatomy, and physiology. I studied marine biology in the Virgin Islands and am CPR certified.

Voice lessons with me are fun and effective. You can expect to hear improved technique from day one, eventually reaching your long term goals. I begin every lesson aligning the students voice through various vocal warm ups and exercises. We then work together to pick repertoire that will suit the singer's voice and they will enjoy singing. During a lesson we will also cover performance presentation, acting, diction, rhythm, musicality, style, and interpretation.
During tutoring you can expect a personalized plan based on your goals and aspirations. Since every student is different you can be assured we will come up with a plan that is designed just for you. I am a laid back tutor but will be sure to get the most out of you after our time together. Most students see at least a one letter grade improvement. My main goal for every tutoring session is student learning and comprehension.
*** Studio Equipment ***
Piano, recording equipment, large collection of sheet music

I would love to become involved and help strengthen the Anatomy and Physiology skills of your college student! I am currently tutoring a few other students in Anatomy & Physiology and and have seen a huge boost in their confidence and abilities. In addition to reinforcing the fundamentals, and dissecting advanced material so it is more easily understood, my plan to initially is to examine their thought process, and then deconstruct their approach so it becomes more systematic and methodical.
I taught Molecular Biology lab for UPenn undergrads, and microbiology, and I myself took advanced Physiology and Anatomy, and cadaver/human dissection at UPenn Medicine. I also took AP Bio in high school. I had a near perfect SAT math score (780 when it was scored out of 800) and also attended UPenn. But most importantly I can get him/her to raise his/her Anatomy/Physiology confidence, understanding and exam scores! I have also counseling students and parents on college admissions ...
I have tutored students at the junior/high school, and college levels. As a teaching assistance for undergraduates at the Ivy league, the Univ of Pennsylvania, I teach pupils to dissect problems and challenges into manageable components. This was my stepping stone into a professorial role. I am originally from NYC, and attended Stuyvesant, so I also help tutor students with the SSAT and SHSAT. Knowledge and understanding alone does not make a good educator, it is the ability to transmit such skills which is remarkable.
I have a Master's of Science of Biochemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor's of Science in biomedical sciences from King's College, University of London.
