About Ana
Hi, there! My name is Ana and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching Spanish since 2007 and have loved helping my students to reach their goals whether that was getting ready for a test, learning their ancestors language or getting fluent for their next job destination. I went to San Diego State University and earned a Master's program in Spanish linguistics. I also pursued a second Masters in Spain (my home country) in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. I'm a motivated and dynamic teacher who has learnt that all students can learn a second language if they are challenged and encouraged. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!

I lived in France for 18 years (childhood and college) and 9 years in Tunisia (middle and high school, in a French school), and I moved to the USA in 2011.

I began teaching while doing my PhD (Université de Lille, 2010). I now work as a costume designer and specialize in opera, but my very first job in the US was teaching for a French theater summer camp!

Now I occasionally translate documents and help opera singers with their pronunciation & understanding of French lyrics. I also have a couple of students and I would like to share my love for the French language and culture with more people through fun exercises and conversations!
