I've been teaching Broadway Singing for 10 years and my students have gone on to sing and act in an array of Musicals around the world. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to sing with greater capacity and as time goes on you'll be able to sing with much greater power, range and style. My enthusiastic teaching style makes learning music with me fun & exciting. My philosophy is to teach the individual by customizing the Music curriculum to the specific needs of the student. As partners in learning, the student will achieve the highest success through positive reinforcement & a positive learning environment. Students can expect to have their love of music nurtured as they gain technical competency through our lessons.

Singing is a complex coordination of breathing, phonation, resonation and articulation, overlaid with musical and performance layers. This process needs to be guided by an instructor who is knowledgeable in the vocal processes and anatomy, as well vocal styles and performance.Vocal development progresses as the body strengthens and growing musical skills demand more from the vocal instrument. We'll work together to find your true voice.

Learning music should be fun and engaging! My style of teaching helps my students learn the songs they want to learn once they have understood a certain level of music theory. Students are motivated to learn through instruction that they can understand, so I work with both children and adults to find their preferred learning style. So when students enjoy learning, practicing comes naturally and the music becomes a fulfilling experience for both the teacher and the student!

After Teaching voice for the past few years it's clear that one thing is universal no matter what kind of singer you are: It takes an impressive amount of courage and self awareness to be heard through song. The Voice is one of the highest form of emotional expression, taking the whole body; as the whole body is the instrument. In these lessons we will focus on breath, bring attention to tension, support, and placement of the voice. Giving you the freedom to be heard. I'm excited to work together with you to find your voice.
