Maya was very patient with me and she guided me through the voice exercises and didn't pressure me to get to the next level...she said it will come in time, and she focussed me on the task. She allowed me to choose some of the songs I felt comfortable singing and we worked on those songs, and her relaxed and playful attitude made me enjoy the lessons without any pressure, and I stayed with her and my weekly lessons- I highly recommend Maya, as she can bring out the best in a person and get you singing in no time at all. She is worth every cent and if you need to learn breathing techniques- Maya is the person to help you improve. I wouldn't call anyone else for voice training...only Maya.

In addition to providing great yoga instruction, she's also been sharing these incredible explanations of how my body works (or isn't working right) that clearly come from a deep understanding of science and the structure of the human body. It is amazing to be able to both connect with the body and to understand how it works physiologically at the same time!
