I've been teaching Piano for 12 years and my students have gone on to form their own groups and work with major artists around the world. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to know your way around the keyboard, and as time goes on you'll be able to naturally play what you want. I specialize in Pop, Rock, R&B, Country and Gospel and love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

I place high emphasis on music literacy and take time to help my students reach fluency when it comes to both reading and writing music. Every lesson, part of the time is spent focused on music theory to build understanding of not just piano but music itself.

I have been teaching piano, guitar, song writing, and music theory professionally for 7 years! I have been successfully advancing students towards their musical goals. I also have experience in the music industry as a signed recording artist and as a producer. My teaching style is very well-rounded and personally tailored to your end goal. While focusing on technique and theory primarily, we will also spend at least a part of each lesson being creative, whether we're improvising, or writing together, or just playing a game, because I believe that being a well-rounded musician means knowing how to communicate your own ideas fluently. I'm also trained in the Taubman Method, so you'll receive training in how to play the piano with confidence and ease without the risk of injuring yourself later on.
