Hey drummers!
Learn to groove to the music you love!
My name is Dani Danor. I am a professional drummer and teacher. Drums and music have always been my biggest passion.
My number one goal in teaching is to get my students as excited as I am about this incredible instrument. And why shouldn't they? This is one of the few (if not the only) instruments that use all four limbs simultaneously. How crazy is that? Imagine how many rhythms, sounds and melodies can be created? Endless!
Drums are the heart of the music all around the world! Whether it's rock 'n roll, funk, jazz, hip-hop, salsa, samba, or electronic music, the drums are what make everything feel so good!
If you too would like to begin (or continue) exploring this amazing world of rhythm and sound, you are welcome to contact me to schedule a lesson. I teach at my studio in Crown Heights as well as at the students' homes.
All ages and levels are welcome! Feel free to contact me for more information.
All the best,
Dani

Lesson regiments are tailored to synthesize student goals and musical passions, setting a foundation in the instrument of interest.
Technique and practice-exercises provide the core for study and development (but we won't let that get in the way of the fun!).
My teaching philosophy largely derives from experience with master-drummers of different fields of study; therefore, my modality is a synthesis of concepts designed to ensure anyone's improvement. We all have rhythm!

I'm not young, and I'm hard to teach music theory to, but he was patient, and is helping me figure a way into learning important stuff that I find kinda dry and not fun to practice. (I'm a good player, but music theory is very challenging to me.)

I have been playing drums for more than 10 years and have been teaching for more than 3. Throughout that time, I have played across the country in New York City and even in Japan. I am currently a Jazz Studies Major at Sacramento State University. My goal is to make every student a well-rounded drummer who knows whats going on when they are in any type of musical situation. My favorite style to play is jazz, but I am well-rounded in all other styles such as rock, Latin, blues, funk, and country.
In my lessons, I base the material on the student depending on how advanced they are. If the student is just starting out, I will teach them the basics such as holding the drumsticks properly, basic rudiments, reading rhythms, learning about the hardware, and so on.
If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask :D
About Gabriel
I started playing drums when I was in second grade and formed a band with my 2 older brothers who played bass and guitar. It was something to do when we younger but when I got into high school, I took playing drums a lot more seriously. I was in a very competitive marching band playing bass drum an
