Terrible experience. Couldn't connect online, 20 minutes after start time called him and he tried to assist, but ended up doing a "phone lesson" which consisted of a question and answer time where I had to come up with my own questions. To conclude we were told to go out and take some pictures on our own and learn from experimenting on our own taking pictures of all kinds of things. We could then download them, send to him, and he could critique.
Not what I expected. Not necessarily his fault, but Going to ask for refund

when I made an appointment, I asked if Sergey was familiar with my camera and they said yes. It seemed new to him. But after talking about my fijifilm x100F, I am returning the camera. So overall I did like Sergey and look forward to my next Hour

I learned to sew as a teenager. It became a hobby that I became passionate about that grew into a business when I decided to take an early retirement. I’m interested in helping others learn how to perfect their skills and and be proud of their work.

I’m familiar with the challenges that sewing can present and knows the patience that it can take. Some time you may need that extra help or opinion on how to get something done correctly. I would like to share my experience and lessons learned with you.

About Rachel
I am a certified instructor yet always the student. I love to learn new skills so that I can pass them on to my students. Working 1 summer at camp defined me as a teacher. I am patient and understanding of all learning styles. No 2 students learn the same and I cater my lesson to each person individually.
My mother taught me to crochet when I was 8, but I didn't learn to knit until I was an adult. I quickly surpassed both my "teachers" to the point that I had to seek out a master instructor, and even figure things out on my own.

My beginner student project becomes your everyday go to usable project, a washcloth. Many make several before moving on to other projects such as hats, scarfs, blankets, socks and even easy, one piece sweaters!

I have researched the science behind yarn crafting and can show you how knitting and crochet can imp
rove grades in all levels of school, retrain older brains to focus, improve memory of the aged and even decrease physical therapy times post surgery; even hand and arm surgery!

I work with addiction counselors to help those afflicted recover faster, and find a healthy outlet that stays with you for the rest of your life.

My students describe me as the teacher they wished they found first. Let me teach you!

Had a wonderful experience with Rachel. She has helped me to understand and read patterns better. In addition she has helped to establish a better tension on my knitting (and crochet) so that the patterns fit the designated stitch gauge better.

Rachel is an incredibly capable knitting teacher. She has patience as well as clear guidance in a learning situation. Whatever task, stitch or just overall learning to knit is your goal, Rachel is entirely confident that she can help you achieve it.
Nothing seemed too complicated for her to teach me to do.

About Laura
I started knitting over ten years ago, and I've been crocheting for over fifteen years now! I love learning new techniques and pushing the limits of what I can do! I've made tons of scarves, hats, and mitts, but I've also made blankets, ornaments, and others.

I teach students who have never knitted/crocheted before, or students who have experience and just want help with a specific pattern, or students who want to push the limits and try something new!

I love knitting patterns with interesting textures, and my favorite style is mosaic colorwork!

Reach out and we can figure out a plan that works well for you!

I am a certified hula hoop instructor through a HoopLove hula hoop teacher training course that I completed early 2017. I have been teaching since 2016, and have been hooping since 2014. Hula hooping has changed my life single-handedly. The amount of joy and confidence and a healthier mind that it continues to give to the world is endless. I have seen many people overcome tremendous mindful obstacles through hula hoop dance, it is a healthy way of expression. Currently, I work full time as a hoopsmith, hand crafting perfomance hula hoops to performers and people all over the world. My availability is very flexible. Students can be prepared to use the connection between body & mind through self expression with a hula hoop. I have taught students of all different ages and experience levels. To further my own teachings and experience, I c
ontinuously attend local work shops of performance hula hoopers that tour in Philadelphia. I also create tutorials online for free to teach some of my own style of hoop dance, and I am planning to record and upload many more in the upcoming months. I have a large following on social media and am very much involved with the hooping community and always know of local & not local hula hooping events happening all the time. If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out! I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better version of yourself!
