ound recording and reproduction is an electrical or mechanical inscription and re-creation of sound waves, such as spoken voice, singing, instrumental music, or sound effects. The two main classes of sound recording technology are analog recording and digital recording. Acoustic analog recording is achieved by a small microphone diaphragm that can detect changes in atmospheric pressure (acoustic sound waves) and record them as a graphic representation of the sound waves on a medium such as a phonograph (in which a stylus senses grooves on a record). In magnetic tape recording, the sound waves vibrate the microphone diaphragm and are converted into a varying electric current, which is then converted to a varying magnetic field by an electromagnet, which makes a representation of the sound as magnetized areas on a plastic tape with a magnetic coating on it. I can teach you from sound engineering and how to set microphones to production and how to mix your audio tracks. Pretty good with different equipment, bring your stuff to me or have me to your studio and I can show you how to use what you got or what you will need. We can also just use the lesson time to record in my studio.

I know my way around a recording console and am familiar with most Digital Audio Workstation software. I can unlock your home recording potential, and anything I don't know, I have a team of experts available to guide us! Together, we can navigate the mysteries of home demo recording!

I am a musician from the Conservatory of Bellas Artes in Colombia and a Music Producer from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. My Career began when I was 12 years old playing Piano and today I work among world known musicians.

With all my lessons you should expect to learn a lot about yourself. I approach each student differently depending on your learning style. I hope to make learning fun but that doesn't mean I'm not going to challenge you every week to get better.

I have been a music producer and a recording engineer for 4 years. Currently, I am a semester away from graduating at Berklee College of Music as a Music Production & Engineering major and Electronic Production & Design major. Everyday, I record, produce, and work with countless artists. I am currently a head engineer of an R&B ensemble and run the session weekly. I am sure I can teach you the best I can and get the best knowledge to you.
