Lee is a great instructor - engaging and fun to work with. I have noticed significant improvements in my playing over the last few weeks, and my family is appreciative too, to the point that I no longer need to hide in a remote corner of the house to practice :-)
Highly recommended.

My daughter has been taking voice lesson from Emily over a month now. She is really motivated and enjoying the class! We are lucky that we chose Emily. My daughter is very comfortable with her and would love to continue the class. Its a lot coming from my picky daughter:)Emily is also very quick to respond to any schedule changes or any other issues. Thanks Emily!

Emily is a wonderful teacher: in spite of her young age, very professional, punctual, knowledgeable. Great personality, easy to get along with. But the most important, she cares about her student. Absolutely happy to have Emily teaching my 15 years old daughter.

Paul A.

Lawrence, KS

About Paul

I am pursuing a master's degree at the university of Kansas. I enjoy teaching because I enjoy the challenge of adapting to the needs of each student I meet. I love music, and consider it a tremendous
privilege to teach music. Because of my abilities in both composition and piano performance, I am able to teach a solid technique, that is, I teach both how music works, and how to play an instrument. While I use method books in some cases, I am equally comfortable teaching a student to write music. I am also conscientious in providing each student with the basics for a good playing technique, so that he or she can play piano with ease. I am a flexible teacher, with a scheduling system that enables me to work with parent and student schedules.
