Just wanted to update my review after taking a few lessons with Kristin. In addition to providing great yoga instruction, she's also been sharing these incredible explanations of how my body works (or isn't working right) that clearly come from a deep understanding of science and the structure of the human body. It is amazing to be able to both connect with the body and to understand how it works physiologically at the same time!

Kristin is incredibly skilled at Yoga - helping my form and deepening my understanding fo Yoga. I'm recommending her to everyone!

I have been tutoring math for about 6 years. I have a specific teaching style with an emphasis on breaking down concepts into simple terms that could be easily absorbed and remembered to ensure that the objective of the lesson is understood. I love answering questions and helping people to understand concepts. I believe many people have a fear of math and my goal is to break down that wall of fear. I currently work in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry; therefore, I rely on my math skills on a daily basis. History is far more than memorizing names and dates, and I don't think it should be taught like that either. We work at understanding what happened and why it happened while understanding when it happened.

"Tom is a very good English teacher. I have problems understanding English literature very often because I am not a native speaker and Tom helped me with patience understanding English literature from context, background of the author and writing habits. Through his instructions I can finally appreciate the beauty of English literature like I appreciate the literature works in my mother tongue. From Shakespeare to Mark Twain I travelled through ages and time when I read, think about and ponder upon their masterpieces. Most importantly I am able to understand them, and it feels amazing. Thank you, Tom!"

"Mena was hired to evaluate and develop academic needs in math for my son, David . He is punctual and ready to start objectives immediately. He guided my son in current lesson plans and then helped to develop skills needed for future chapters. He showed a desire to teach and develop tools to help him achieve high scores and to learn concepts or rationals for the importance of each equation. I highly recommend Mena for his ability to tutor and I wish him success in his future goals."

"When I first started writing my screenplay for a short story I'm directing and producing, I had a limited time to write, direct, edit and submit to a "once a year" film festival in Orlando Florida. I ran into a bunch of obstacles, from using the correct grammar, to punctuation's, spelling and inconsistencies in the story line. She was very clear and concise when she spoke. I don't know what she did but her method of teaching allowed me to relax and open my mind, and allowed me to absorb and remember every single writing technique she's given me. I am proud to say that my short film was finished in time to enter the festival. Thanks to Jonita it is now 3 months later and I have finished my fourth short screenplay, now starting my fifth. She is just amazing, I'm so happy I found her to work with me."
