As a tutor in Spanish, I am able to share my experiences and use my skills in order to help students achieve their goals. I am very capable in adapting and customizing lessons to fit your learning style. I would be able to help you develop your Spanish language skills in the areas of reading comprehension, writing, grammar, listening and speaking.
I am an instructor who is professional, flexible, easy-going, patient, friendly, and very interested in my students' progress.

About Frank
I am from Peru, which is where I started my career in teaching. For nearly five years I taught Spanish as a Second Language to American young adults who were preparing to serve Spanish-speaking missions in South America.

Additionally, I was a Spanish editor. Through producing and editing countless Spanish magazines, pamphlets, articles, interviews, and ads, I developed great attention to detail and excelled in the correct and elegant use of the Spanish language. I also worked as an Advertising Manager and Marketing Manager for several educational institutions.

Lately, I have worked as a
Spanish Instructor for Language Bird in Los Angeles. During that time, I taught students and career professionals from the basic, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish. Currently, I'm working as a Spanish Instructor at Ross Stores Distribution Center, and as a Latin American Culture and Spanish Instructor for the U.S. Air Force.

I am an instructor who is professional, flexible, easy-going, patient, friendly, and very interested in my students' progress.

I look forward to meeting you.

I have been a language instructor in many capacities; both teaching English to Spanish-speaking professionals in Chile and teaching Spanish to English-speaking students of all ages here in the US. I hold a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Tennessee, as well as a language certification from Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso in Chile. I am a curriculum developer, interpreter, translator, and instructor. I would love to show you how to become a self-learner, which I find to be the greatest asset in learning a new language. I will not only teach you, but show you HOW to learn.

About Elaine
Hola! I have been teaching the piano and Spanish for over 10 years, and love seeing how quickly we all can learn a new skill if we just have the right coaching. I'm a firm believer in teaching you HOW to learn first, no matter the subject. Many of my students become so proficient in the art of being self-taught, they soon don't need me ( which I consider an honor!) . Whether on the piano or in the Spanish language, I know we all have the capacity for more, and I'll help you get there. I'm a mom of 2 beautiful girls and a little lab puppy. My husband and I love our kids and our Southern l
ife! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
