Lisa is a wonderful teacher. She always is on time and comes prepared with new lessons each week. She is very in tune with my level of Spanish and provides materials that I can handle and challenge me to grow. I am very pleased with her tutoring. I would recommend her highly as a teacher for anyone.

I have been teaching Spanish for 3 years in British public and private schools. My students develop not only knowledge of the language but also understanding of the countries where it is spoken. With a degree in teaching I have learn to use a variety of learning methods to best suite my students: mnemonic, musical or using movements. Language learning does not need to be boring!

About Martina
I am an Italian living in Las Vegas since 2013. I have started teaching in 2010, first as an outdoor instructor and then as a language teacher in both private and state school in the UK, and as a private tutor in the USA. I am passionate about languages, in particular my mother tongue Italian, and Spanish, because they open new doors and allow for better communication and intercultural understanding. I aim to engage my students with a variety of teaching techniques to keep them interested, challenged and having fun!

I love the outdoors. I am a climber, ski instructor and a professional photographer.

I gained my own experience practicing Spanish as an intern in a Spanish speaking law office in Santiago, Chile. I have also tutored high school Spanish 1 before.

We will practice through games, the use of memorization strategies, and more. Whether you are intrigued with learning a new language or you are simply interested in passing a class, you will likely come out with a greater appreciation for the language.

Learning Spanish is all about speaking Spanish, so we will speak it during lessons! However, if you just need to perform well for a class I may (regrettably) help you focus instead on reading an writing.

I studied Spanish in school for 6 years and lived in Spain.

About Natalie
After graduating high school at the top of my class, I got full funding for an economics degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where I was born. I was very busy in college--my extracurriculars included 2 semesters abroad (Spain, Singapore), writing an honors thesis, being a consultant to the academic advising office, and being president of an honor society; besides this I worked my butt off in classes and graduated with a 3.7.

Besides academics, I am super interested in fitness, general wellness and psychology.

I would love to talk it out with you wherever our learning interests intersect!

I am a HS teacher of Spanish and English as a second language. I come from the school district that is 88% Hispanic at the elementary, 65% Middle school and 35% high school. I have to accommodate students with different language abilities and different levels of formal education day in and day out. My lessons are very dynamic. I make my classroom materials relevant to every day life; however, if a professional requires help with specific vocabulary required for work, I make it happen as well. I vary modes of presentation to accommodate different learning styles. I also make sure to acknowledge the age of my clients by selecting proper level of materials.

About Olga
I hold three different college degrees: two Bachelors-one in teaching Spanish and one in Teaching German and English as a Second Language. I also have a Master's Degree in Composition and Literature. My passion is in teaching and learning new languages. I taught Spanish at a college level for a number of semesters as an adjunct instructor. Primarily, I work as a HS language teacher: Spanish and English as a Second language.
I have taught specialty classes for a few industrial companies in Winona, MN, helping managers to acquire some work related Spanish prior to travelling to plants in Mexico. I also have done private tutoring for a variety of ages.
