I conduct two recitals per year and am working to expand our performance opportunities in the community. Many of my students already sing in premier choir ensembles and/or bands. I 'press' my students with various different vocalizes and pieces to ensure that when the opportunity to perform comes - they're ready.

I served as a Latin tutor at Walnut Hills High School year for about 3 years. I taught students of differing levels of Latin (Latin I, II, and III). The topics I covered in my teachings included grammar, the memorization of Latin words, and the translation of Latin texts. I myself have studied Latin for 4 years. I have taken the AP Latin course and received a 5 (the highest grade possible) on the AP Exam. In our lessons together, I will help to review any topics that are confusing, to complete homework assignments, to review and for tests and the AP Exam, etc. Lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning styles.

I have two degrees from Berklee College Of Music. One in Electronic Music Production / Sound Design, the other in Music Production & Engineering. I have worked with many styles of music wether it be recording, mixing or mastering. Being a electronic music producer also gives me the unique perspective of song form and song writing to help people bring their ideas to life. I am highly proficient when using Ableton Live and Pro Tools. Having worked in audio post-production for a few years now has also given me a lot of experience in working with visual mediums and recording / editing so that the audio and picture sync up appropriately. I can get your working really fast during sessions and give you the confidence to trust your ears!

I have had many successful students in my 10 years teaching saxophone! I always gear lessons toward the individual student's musical goals and interests and I am constantly reinforcing good technique and practice habits. My favorite genre to teach is jazz, but I can help you with classical and pop music, too!
I have been performing and teaching music professionally for 10 years in a variety of settings. I received my bachelor's degree in music education and jazz studies from Western Michigan University and my master's in jazz studies from Temple University in Philadelphia. My passion is jazz saxophon

Saxophone is one of the easiest instruments to pick up, but one of the most difficult to refine. I specialize in getting you from that horrible honking noise that makes your family run in terror to a sweet singing melodic tone that has the subtlety of a fine oboe but with the power of a military trumpet.
Saxophone performance isn't interchangeable with clarinet or any other instrument so I'll introduce you to all the things that make saxophone unique: how to form the mouth around the mouthpiece, anchor tonguing for better control, and the different fingerings that make the saxophone one of the most versatile instruments in the world.
I was raised in one of those freaky music families. Dad was a composer/arranger/clarinetist and Mom was an expert flutist. There was a saxophone lying around the house unused so I decided that I would play that. I took the approach many of you are on right now: learning the basics in middle schoo
