I've had two Finnish lessons with Jared so far. He's a great teacher. Very informative, and when I'm feeling overwhelmed he does a great job of answering my questions. I've learned more Finnish grammar between this first and second week of my lesson than I have in 25 years of hearing the language spoken.

Hey! Nice to meet you! First off, I would love to thank you for your interest in my professional acting training. I am a fun, vibrant and grounded professional actor desired to help you reach your goals in the performing arts industry. I am a graduate of the well-known American Academy of Dramatic Arts, as well as a writer, songwriter, and overall just an encouraging individual willing to push you beyond your fears and help you dive in pool of creation. I specialize in warm-ups, physical acting, improv, auditions, monologue practice, Meisner Technique, Lee Strasberg's Method, and Stanislavski’s System.
I follow five simple but important steps to my method of engagement in performing. 1. Explore Explore your space. Rather it be on stage, in front of the camera, or just in your head; you must explore your space to find your comfo
rtable and tight places, as well as your obstacles and free spaces. The advantages of exploring first, is that you get a chance as the actor, to feel the area and build that fourth wall. 2. Ground Plant your feet and your voice down and get grounded. Your being is an electrical source. Just like in a home, in order to use electricity safely, it must first be grounded. You must ground yourself in order to release the full potential of your power. 3. Listen Listening is a key element in not just acting, but also in life. Listening doesn't seclude itself to just words. Listening involves, listening to your body, listening for queues, beats, moments and even silence! If you choose not to listen, your response will never be valid. 4. Act and React Every action has a reaction. Your job as an actor, is to fulfill the role by acting and then reacting. You must learn specific techniques to appropriately apply to your acting and if you are following rule number three, reacting should be a breeze. 5. Trust your muscles Trust that through repetitive motion and practice, that your muscles will do it's job and place your mind, words, and body exactly where it needs to be.
With these steps, the only thing left to add is discipline and creativity. I encourage my students to be themselves and be fearless in that. Without your difference in the world, there would be no change, there would be no story to be told, there would be no excitement. I challenge you to excite me and allow me into your space. Let's explore and create together!

Hi. From being a student myself to becoming a teacher, the world of Japanese has always been very rewarding for me. I have experience of working as Japanese Interpreter in manufacturing unit, teaching Japanese to english speaking audiences & vice versa has been my strength. Come let’s explore & learn together.
"When I came to the US my English language level was not great. I had studied in school in Turkey, but my pronunciation was difficult to understand and the
grammar was impossible for me. I have been taking classes for about 1.5 years now with Micah and another instructor that works for her, and I have improved a lot. I have even been giving presentations at my job now. I am an engineer.
I was not expecting to improve my level like that in 1.5 years. Learn English or Spanish LLC has talented teachers. Now I am planning to take the TOEFL in 6 months, and I will prepare for it with them. After that, my goal is a Masters degree. I highly recommend classes with them.
They are extremely effective teachers."
"Anna, is a very good teacher with loads of patience. My mom is very satisfied with her. We will keep her on!"
"Great Teacher! One of the nicest people I've ever met. Straightforward and patient with her students. I myself may have not been the fastest to pick up al
l of the vocabulary and learn the material too quickly but she was extremely patient with me and was very thorough with the education we receive. Would definitely recommend her!"
"She raised my daughters grade by one whole grade! Thank you!"
Melina, 7th grade English Teacher
"I worked with Anna for 4 years in a middle school, and we were both in the English department. Anna is caring and patient the students which makes them c
omfortable in her class. As an instructor, Anna is very passionate about literature and has a way of making the classics interesting to students. This is a huge achievement especially in the public school we taught at in Hollywood where most kids have no interest in reading and have parents whose education level is below a high school diploma. In Anna's class, they read Shakespeare, Austen, and Steinbeck, and they liked the books! Anna is also a fantastic teacher of writing being a writer herself. She believes in the writing process, and taught students how to write essays that are both precise yet to the point. In her class, students learned how to revise their writing without feeling like time is wasted. Anna was an effective teacher, and students will grow under her tutelage."
"You are the best teacher! I enjoyed our first lesson a lot, thank you so much and I am looking forward to next week!!!! :-)"
"Hector is incredibly bright and infects all surrounding him with inspiration. He is easy to work with and can help bounce ideas through casual conversatio
n. He is extremely flexible and adapts to one's learning style. My diction was very poor growing up bilingual and he has helped expand my vocabulary through simply conversing with me."
"Patient to teach and with good personality. I'm enjoying the classes with her"
