I am a certified yoga instructor teaching in many locations throughout Westchester. I was trained at Yoga Haven in Scarsdale, New York with Betsy Kase, and earned a 200-hour certificate in Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation. I offer private yoga instruction at my home studio. My studio comes fully equipped with all yoga props, aromatherapy, and music. Hands-on-assists and personalized classes offered to deepen your experience.

My journey into the world of yoga began when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a pervasive autoimmune disease characterized by pain in the body. Since then I have learned to use my practice to heal my physical body, calm my emotional body, and bring balance into my life. Yoga is a way to connect the mind and the body and to become aware of the spirit. Yoga has changed my life and I work to cater each class to meet the needs of the individual present.

Excellent first voice lesson. Jillian is warm, encouraging, and very knowledgeable. I was surprised how many "technical" issues she introduced me to (optimal breathing & how best to practice it at home; appropriate use of falsetto at upper limit of bass voice range, etc.) . Looking forward to continued lessons. (Much better use of what used to be my copay for psychotherapy! I've also joined rehearsals with new Encore-NYC chorale group in Manhattan, for people over 55. Music is giving me a real emotional lift in my retirement.)

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is the umbrella of all yoga branches. It is known to be the highest and thorough of yoga traditions. It utilizes meditation, mantra, physical exercises, and breathing techniques. It is best recognized as a Raj Yoga.

It is taught by encompassing the eight limbs of yoga as created by Patanjali, into a extraordinary practice of bliss. “Kundalini” is accurately defined as “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved.” The metaphor of Kundalini refers to the movement of energy and consciousness that exists within each of us, and enables us to merge with – or “yoke” – the physical self with the universal. Combining individual and universal consciousness creates a divine union, called “yoga.”

Dating back to the fifth century B.C., the Upanishads, had defined Kundalini. However, it had been maintained as an oral tradition, which reaches further back into history then we have known. This sacred science, and the tools provided, was hidden, ...

I had three 90 minute sessions-Diana was wonderful-she is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. She has a soothing demeanor-her studio is very conducive to meditating. She asks relevant questions and was extremely therapeutic in her approach. She is very intuitive and I feel much better about the things transpiring in my life. I highly recommend Diana-from beginner to expert, my experience was great.

I have been taking Liam's Tai Chi/ Qi Gong class for nearly two years now. He is a dynamic teacher that is sensitive to different types of learning paces and styles (both eastern and western) and employs both in his classes. His explanations are simple and he always relates the movement back to its origin as a martial arts defense/offensive move which helps one establish the intention behind the movement. I have learned yang short form and chen style short form from him. I would highly recommend that you take his class if you are interested in beginning or continuing a tai chi practice. Through my practice I have found a healthy way to manage stress and anxiety.

Lindsay is the best teacher ever! She is very skilled in ballet and exercise. She is also an excellent teacher. I feel guided by her and always encouraged. I focus on alignment making sure you are moving in and out of postures correctly as well as while you are in the posture. This prevents injury and will allow you to get the most benefit from the practice.

I also teach pranayama (breath work), philosphy (Niyamas, Yamas, etc.), meditation and inward focus.

Kellie is easy to schedule with and she mixes up the routine every week so you are never bored. Our workouts have been a combination of pilates and strengthening using body weight or light weights. I already feel stronger in my core, glutes and upper body after only 4 sessions.

Kellie is very knowledgeable about nutrition, working out and exercise. She also knows a lot of mental strategies to help me stay on track. She is VERY
