Finding a good physics teacher/tutor, for some odd reason, is perhaps more challenging than physics itself. Physics is actually quite fun when you have someone who can effectively communicate the more complex and counter-intuitive truths about the way our universe works.
As a physics tutor, my job is not to show off how much I know, but rather it's to help you find your understanding of the material and become great at it yourself. I do this by 1) not assuming you should "just know" how to properly set up a particular problem 2) not expecting you to "just get" why a particular phenomenon is the way it is 3) by asking you questions about what may be confusing or counter-intuitive, and using various approaches to explaining it until we find the one that works for your unique way of thinking about physical laws and properties.

I offer individual tutoring for all middle school, high school and college mathematics, physics and computer science classes and all standardized exams. I come with more than ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, pedagogical know-how, educational resources, and am always professional. I welcome any interested parties to contact me regarding my services.
A little about myself. I was enrolled in a top mathematical high school and won multiple mathematical olympiads starting at a young age. I graduated from university with honors and the highest departmental distinction. While at the university I served as a teaching assistant and tutored other students. Mathematics and teaching are still my big passions. I’ve taught math classes at a private school as well as tutored students of all ages and all levels. I am committed to helping students succeed in any math course. I guide the students in their understanding and comprehension of solutions rather than give them answers to ...

I am an MIT tutor specializing in math and science. I have taken Introductory Physics at MIT, and I have received near-perfect score on the MCAT Physical Sciences, which heavily tests on the test-takers' ability to solve problems given passages.
Having worked with many students, I understand that students have different demands from school and their schedule. As a result, I first meet with the students to determine and adapt my lessons accordingly. I also talk with the teachers as needed.
I also always carry around AP Physics prep books, SAT Physics prep books, and/or college physics problems (depending on the students' levels) so that the students can work on the practice problems during the lessons. I also provide them with additional resources (especially the list of concepts from the AP Physics labs) and practice problems as needed.
About Nayoon
I'm an MIT tutor specializing in math, science, and test prep and many of my students have gone on to study at Ivy Leagues, MIT, and McGill. Many of my students have also gotten 800 on both SAT Math and SAT Math 2, 750+ on SAT Reading and Writing, and 5's on the AP exams even in the midst of pandemi

Sometimes solutions aren’t obvious. If you wanted to know how far away an object was from you, you might think, “grab a ruler, a yardstick, a tape measure, anything that can measure distance.” Sure, those will work, but what if you didn’t have those tools at your disposal? This situation is where the distance equation in physics comes in handy! Distance formula physics problems prove that with a few pieces of information, you can solve an unknown. Now, you might think, “yeah, but …
