Having been a musician his whole life, and a bassist since the time he was 15 years old, Kyle elected to attend Berklee College of Music on partial scholarship after graduating high school. This allowed him the opportunity to study with the likes of Whit Browne and Anthony Vitti. Summer breaks from school allowed Kyle to complete professional contracts as a working bass player, including playing in Hersheypark’s “Frontier Frenzy” (2010), Holland America Cruiseline’s “The Neptunes” (2011), and Boston’s “The Honeymooners” (2012). Gordon is a proud graduate of Philadelphia's University of the Arts and holds a Bachelors in Music Performance and a Masters in Music Education. While in the masters program Gordon concentrated on classroom management for grades k-12, history and philosophy of music education, psychology, music technology, and special needs classes. Additionally Gordon did work as an assistant music teacher with the Philadelphia schools Andrew Jackson Middle School, Masterman High School, Cheltenham Elementary, and John B. Kelly Elementary School. Through working with these Schools, Gordon gained hands on experience working with students of various ages as a class and individually. Additionally Gordon has been teaching and instructing students of School of Rock in Bucks County since April 2014.
