I am dedicated to helping students improve on their instrument and work toward their own personal goals. All ages and all levels are welcome. I think it is important to build on a foundation of technique, sight reading, and music theory, but also have fun in the process. I have a BM in Clarinet Performance from the University of Puget Sound and a MM in Clarinet Performance from California State University, Fullerton.

John is a very effective teacher. I took bass lessons and I have improved so much. John is an amazing teacher and I would recommend him to anyone looking to learn the bass guitar or upright bass.
Steve
Jonathan taught me when I was around middle school age and has left a lasting impression on how I approach the bass and music 10-ish years later. Under his tutelage I learned music theory, techniques, and all sorts of different genres and styles.

His lessons were always very professional. I always felt challenged, but not overwhelmed, by the material being taught. He also made it easy to be interested in the lessons; he would always ask if there's any song or genre that I wanted to learn and that sort of thing.

Overall, definitely a 5/5 top shelf educator and musician.

Tony was awesome. This was my first ever lesson, despite having "played" for many years - Tony was friendly and gentle in his approach to showing me all my bad technique and habits and how to correct them. I'm looking forward to many more lessons and growing my ability through his guidance!

Tony is an excellent instructor. His style of teaching emphasizes clear instruction, valuable feedback and attainable goals within a friendly and calm environment. The pieces he chooses for study are appropriately challenging and musically enjoyable. The in-home lessons were very convenient and he was professional in all respects. I recommend him highly!

I just recently finished 10, 45 min lessons with Michael. When I was searching for a voice coach, I was very lucky to find Michael. We hit it off right from the beginning. He gave me a great understanding of how the voice works. He took my voice to highs and lows that I had no idea that I was capable of reaching. He really took a big interest in the songs that I needed help with, and put me on track at my problem areas. I highly recommend Michael. He's a really great singer, and a really great voice coach/instructor... Thanks Michael!!!

Michael made me comfortable right from the start. I've tried learning to sing from YouTube videos before, but I never received the feedback that I needed. "Here's the thing, Dan is a great instructor, because he tells the truth. His sessions teach me more than just vocal training and technique. After a session I walk away with more knowledge about me. Through his insight and critique, I learn how to better use my voice. I also learn how to present myself to others while vulnerable in my truth. He reminds me to keep my throat open. When I hear that, I am reminded to stay open and not guarded, to trust and be seen, so that I can be heard. Dan uses his expertise to make me better. I highly recommend him."

"Ive been working with Eric for over a year now and I can't recommend him enough. Whether you are looking to play guitar recreationally or professionally Eric is the person you want to help hone your skills. As someone who has tried to teach myself and failed I can say that after working with Eric not only do I understand music itself astronomically better but I also am able to produce music on a creative level that would have taken years to achieve without Eric. Lastly, to anyone who is on edge of whether they need a teacher or not, the answer is YES, absolutely and you won't find anyone better than Eric."

"Nicole is extremely upbeat, joyous and fabulously encouraging

I love Nicole's joyful presence and very encouraging manner. She's talented and works with me to ensure that I get over my insecurities as a new player and enjoy the experience. Also love that she's very attuned to the physical toll that playing and performing takes and takes the time to explain the need for and the how to of exercises that will help me avoid injury or pain and to make my playing more toneful. I am very happy that I got to be one of her students. Oh, and she's been very good at accommodating my schedule and working with me when medical or travel needs interfere with my regular lessons."
