Neguine teaches piano to my two children, ages 8 and 6, and she’s been wonderful. She comes to our house and immediately the house is a calm friendly place to learn music. She’s patient with my kids who love piano but are still little, and she has a good sense of humor when they want to try something a little quirky. They also have been making great strides with sightreading, and their eagerness to learn more has only increased. Neguine also does not rush the kids: If a child needs to repeat part of a lesson for another week as she is good about making sure kids reinforce what they’re learning, which is something I appreciate, and my kids have learned to appreciate that too. I highly recommend her!

Our daughter has been taking voice lessons with Rachel since she was 8.5 years old. Rachel has a very warm, kind, and happy demeanor that instantly made our daughter comfortable during her first lesson. Rachel would come to our house every week (so convenient!) to showcase her vocal skills and pass along the knowledge to our daughter. She was always on time, professional, and, most importantly, helped educate and grow our daughter’s singing skills tremendously. Rachel has a unique blend of vocal artistry, understanding of the science behind the art (very rare trait), and ability to transfer that knowledge to her clients. We were so bummed when Rachel moved further away and could no longer do in-person lessons. Thankfully, we tried online virtual lessons via Zoom and it was perfect! I should note that this was way, way before the pandemic so it shows Rachel’s versatility with technology and her ability to teach clients online. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Rachel.
