Whether you're the next Taylor Swift, want to rock out like Metallica, or just want to play simple folk tunes around the campfire, I'm the teacher you want! I've performed on stage and have done studio work on top of teaching on both acoustic and electric guitar. We'll cover music theory, ear training, soloing, and explore different styles of music on top of learning the songs you want to play!

David enjoys teaching students from all different backgrounds and levels of proficiency. Whether you are just starting out or a virtuoso shredder in the making, he is happy to teach you! Over all, he is fairly laid back, as long as you practice. He usually combines work with reading off of the treble clef (what he likens to "eating your vegetables." You may not want to do it, but it will make you a healthier musician!) with learning more popular songs (or songs the student says they would like to learn) through tablature and chord charts, depending on the style of the song.

David is also very pro music theory. He usually incorporates music theory into the curriculum in conjunction with the material already being discussed. He is also very knowledgeable about composition/songwriting, and if the student is interested in learning more about this area, he is happy to share what he knows!

Hey everyone! I spend most of my time touring the world with A list pop artists as guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, but in my spare time I love passing along the gift of music via teaching. I've been playing guitar for half my life, and in addition to guitar I can also teach beginner bass, piano, drums and music production. I've taught all different kinds of students, ranging in age and ability. I tailor my lessons specifically for each students needs, and to match their personalities and interests. Wanna learn how to play a Taylor Swift song? Sick! Wanna learn a blues chord progression? Awesome! Wanna learn how to shred like a Norwegian death metal god? I got you!

Lessons will be customized to meet the needs of the students. I have five years of teaching students from ages five to fifty and over twenty years of experience as a musician. Students will learn core music essentials such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, and more. And for songwriters I offer lessons on songwriting and structuring.
