Guitar is one of my favorite instrument to learn and I began playing at age seven. To become a well rounded musician and player I always start with basics. Hand and finger technique, notes, rhythms, chords, learning the fretboard, soloing and songs. If the student is only interested in learning songs I am happy to have them bring in anything they want to learn. Whether you're interested in learning to play a specific song, or if you've just always wanted to play guitar but weren't sure where to start, I will join you in your journey and help you discover the tools that you need to reach the level that you want.
I help my students figure out and understand how the instrument and their own hands work, so that they are able to get full control of the guitar and play in various styles with ease. I work to make sure as many doors as possible are open to my students, and I leave it up to them to decide which doors they want to walk through.

I loved working with Chris. He is by far the best teacher i have ever had. I remember thinking that i would never ever be able to play a guitar in my live time despite really wanting to. Then here Chris comes along and after much practicing and support i started to slowly get better at it.
