I was trained on flute while studying jazz saxophone in college. Most of my applied experience with flute is performing solos. I will show you how to be a soloist whether you want to learn how to improvise or compete in solo competitions.

Experienced flute teacher of 6.5 years, and professional flutist who has been playing for 17 years!
I teach dozens of middle school and high school students of all abilities, including many beginners.
My students are often advancing in the TMEA Middle School and High School Region band process, winning competitions, and making first chair or moving up bands once they start studying with me.
This is because of my passion for music, kindness and encouragement of all of my students, my patience, and the mastery of the instrument I'm teaching.
I have a Masters Degree in Flute Performance from one of the best music schools in the world, have been playing professionally all over the world for over 5 years, and have won numerous competitions and awards for my playing.

My students will master sight reading, sound, musicality, technique, auditions and nerves/mental strength as a musician, and always be at the top of their section with me by their side.

Experienced flutist of 9 years, I am currently a senior in high school and principal flutist of the New Jersey Symphony Youth Orchestra. I have participated in a multitude of ensembles and orchestras, along with winning many state-level and division competitions. I have also taken masterclasses with world-renowned flutists like Sir James Galway, Jeanne Baxtresser, Amy Porter, Bonita Boyd, and Bart Feller. I make sure my flute lessons challenge the student to try hard in testing their skills AND make the class entertaining! I will be teaching not just skills for an awesome flute performance, but music theory, technique, intonation, and some music history. I currently teach students of all different ages and levels, from elementary to high school, beginner to advanced! ALL ARE WELCOME!

As classically trained musician, I have found myself playing a wide range of genres in my professional life. I work in NYC as an actor/musician, and am currently performing Off-Broadway as the the Fiddler in The Fiddler on the Roof. I love working with students of all ages!

I cover scales/theory, tone production and song learning. I will cater to the students desires and learning styles.
