My Vocal Coaching exists to train & equip influential artists to encourage & inspire others through music. I provide both vocal coaching & songwriting classes. All training is taught through a biblical perspective, with the purpose of impacting the world for Christ.

My lessons will take you from beginner to amateur to professional as long as you stick with me and practice what I teach you! I have several years teaching music under my belt, already, so I certainly know what works. Worth the try!

I have worked for over ten years now in the field of teaching music in a therapeutic way. I have wide experience of teaching pupils with a variety of needs, including those with autism, ADHD and also mentally and physically disabled pupils. I believe very strongly in the healing and therapeutic qualities of making and experiencing music. Often Music is a language that transcends other types of teaching and reaches pupils in a more direct way than other therapies.

Alex Sjobeck holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the Manhattan School of Music and a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Northern Colorado where she taught collegiate classes while obtaining her degree. She has taught semester-long classes as well as master classes at universities and high schools across the United States and has been teaching private piano lessons to both young and adult students for over a decade. Her knowledge of music is shown through her thriving teaching career as well as her performance career which has led her to record several albums and perform at acclaimed jazz clubs across the United States such as the Velvet Note in Atlanta, GA, and Dazzle in Denver, CO.
