I've been teaching guitar almost my entire adult life. Started in 1978 in my parents house and after that a couple of music stores. I'm now teaching in my home studio.
My teaching goals and curriculum will depend on the ability of the student and their knowledge of the instrument. It doesn't matter if they are at the beginner, intermediate or advance level, I have experience teaching all levels.
Most students want to learn how to play songs. I focus a great deal on learning how to use the proper technique to play all the chords needed to play the songs they would like to learn. If you want to learn how to read music and or play lead guitar I can teach that too.
I'm a professional guitarist and singer. I've been performing in bands none stop for over 30 years and I'm still performing on weekends with my two bands'. I teach practical guitar lessons that can be applied to building up for performance with a band or as a solo artist.
I'm also a song writer and piano player. ...

Charles is highly approachable and extremely knowledgeable. He walks the perfect line between making his students feel comfortable whilst also pushing them to become better in every single session.
I got a solid grasp of the basics of music theory and was able to fully improvise in different scales at the end of the course. The growth I had was tremendous - all thanks to Charles' guidance.
Charles will take the time to fully understand the needs, goals and struggles of his students. He will be there for them inside and outside of class time because he genuinely cares about music and his students becoming better.

I believe that learning music should be as fun and inspiring as it can be to play. We all have a vast wellspring of creative energy within us, and the goal of the relationship between the student and the teacher is to help nurture and develop that latent talent. For this reason, my approach to teaching music is highly individualized. I start out with the premise that the student has unique gifts and my job is to help them discover what those are, and develop and refine them in order to make beautiful and deeply satisfying music, through whatever instrument and in whatever style they are drawn towards.
Depending on one's starting level of experience, some basic exercises will be assigned to develop core skills, with increasing levels of technical challenge and complexity. Elements of music theory will be woven into practical lessons. Students will have the choice to incorporate material from popular and familiar music into their studies, and as they progress they will be encouraged to

When I first started as a musician and a guitarist, I didn't really have much of an interest in it until I met my first guitar instructor Aaron. He made learning fun, challenging but most of all effective and practical. I learned from the very beginning all the way to intermediate-advanced musical concepts that still help me today. His skill as a jazz musician is profound and very professional, making him a very sought after guitar instructor where I received lessons from him. Aaron has set the foundation for my future career in music, which is something I can never forget or repay him for be it monetary or not, his inspiration to teach and help me get to the level of playing I wished to be at was his best attribute, and I say that's what really matters. Give him a chance and I'm absolutely sure you will not regret it!"

My son started to learn the guitar with Soraya 7 months ago. He is nine years old. He showed good skills, but not so much the desire to push himself.
Thanks to Soraya and her firm gentleness, he has experienced the need for exercise and repetition, the right to make mistakes
and the satisfaction of playing easily after all that effort .
He has learned a lot since he started and knows already how to play chords and melodies in the same tune.
I like the method that Soraya is using: it is focused on a good knowledge of the fret. It is progressive and allows right away to play catchy songs.
I would recommand her as a guitar teacher to anyone."

David is an excellent guitarist and wonderful teacher for my son. He's very enthusiastic and encouraging. David is patient when my son is struggling wth something and is always available to answer questions in between sessions. Weâre very fortunate to have him as an instructor. I would highly recommend him!!"

I've been playing for a very long time, and sometimes in my position its hard to recognize your weaknesses and figure out where to make progress. Ahmad was able to talk to me openly and honestly about where my deficiencies were without making me feel bad in any way. He was encouraging and had a plan! I was able to make immediate progress on some very fundamental aspects of guitar that had been holding me back for a long time.
I don't think I've ever seen a more organized and efficient instructor, and it really helps in making incremental progress over the short term, and taking major strides over the long term. I'd highly recommend Ahmad to anyone looking for guitar lessons with disciplined and well-thought-out lesson plans. His focus on technique and fundamentals can help anyone through any style."
He's the man and I recommend him."

Country fans: grab your guitars and start strumming to this round-up of easy country songs to play on guitar. In the modern music era, country music has become widely popular among all ages of listeners more than any time in music history. One of the main reasons for this trend is that most country musicians fuse their music into the country-pop genre. When country music first came out, lyrics were typically about the simple times in life addressing everyday tasks and situations. To …
