I can teach using music software or by hand, using chords or notated music, arrangement for different instruments, and melody writing.

I love working with students of all ages and all levels of experience! I've been teaching trombone for 7 years. I've earned my Bachelor's of Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory ('17), my Master's of Music degree from University of Southern California ('19), and I'm currently working on my Doctor of Musical Arts degree from University of Southern California. I have experience playing trombone in many different styles ranging from orchestral music to jazz to brass quintet to pop and funk.

Students will learn to play violin using a variety of methods.

If you are new to piano, and want some help learning your way around the keys, and getting an idea of the building blocks of music, a few chords, how to read music, how to listen for and learn a melody by ear, a little technique and and some exercises for dexterity and ease, I can help you get started!

If you're not ready to commit or hire an expensive instructor just yet (note: experienced instructors who have studied music for a long time are certainly worth the expense), and just want an introduction from a very patient teacher to see if you want to continue, I'm happy to help. We will move at a pace that is most comfortable for you!

I very much like but not take it seriously with an American way of learning skills by just having fun lessons without committed practice. I trust in every child’s sense of understanding and smart motivation.
Russian school of teaching piano is traditionally the best due to centuries of polishing teaching skills by greatest musicians and teachers. We strive to master both technique and artistry. However, in reality, to achieve this might be a challenge. A fun makes it better. I use a combined American and Russian approach. To help students keep progressing, balancing between hard work and fun attitude, between technical skills and artistically emotional performance is my philosophy and passion.

I have 7+ years of piano teaching experience specializing in beginner and intermediate students. All ages are welcome. I offer a curriculum customized for each student depending on their needs and interests, composed of note reading, ear training, piano technique, music theory, performance skills, and standard piano repertoire. I also provide comprehensive guidance through piano and music theory ABRSM exams.
