Hello! I have several years of experience teaching piano to high-school and college students, both at an intermediate and advanced level. I began learning piano at age 6, and have played competitively, performed in various classical recitals, performed in a jazz ensemble, and accompanied both choirs and orchestras.

I have plenty of practice material and songs ranging from beginner to advanced. I have the mindset that the student should enjoy what they are playing, so we'll look for music that you wish to play, and music that is progressively challenging. You won't be expected to buy any music materials for our lessons.

I'm looking for any student who wants to build a healthy and enjoyable relationship with piano that they will keep throughout their lives.

I teach through Listening. Listening to your goals, listening to your passion, listening to your voice, listening for your pain points, and listening to your message. I lead the student to self-discovery and exploration using training, vocabulary, comprehension, and pedagogy. What emerges is a discovery of your true inner voice.

Hi, I’m Norman, and I teach guitar and all other fretted instruments. I have maintained a weekly schedule of about 40 studio and online students since 2010. Lessons with me are fun, streamlined, and filled with music.

My students can play their instruments well, and they know their chords, scales, arpeggios, songs, and other compositions. Using the state-of-the art music learning theory I studied at Eastman School of Music, performers gain the confidence to play in solo recitals, or with a group, or even to teach others to play, too.

Learning to play the drums should be a fun adventure, and I believe the best way for my students to learn is to teach them through the music they like. Whether you want to translate your best Neil Peart air drumming impressions to the drums, prepare drum covers of some of today's most popular music, or learn to play so you and your friends can FINALLY start that band you've always wanted to start, I can help you accomplish your goals!

With my curriculum, you will learn (depending on your current abilities):
- All "40 Essential Drum Rudiments" and learn how to turn them into crazy fills that
you can impress all your friends with
- Basic grooves that are applicable to almost any band you play with
- How to read drum charts and song forms
- Even write your own drum parts and compose music yourself!

I have been teaching professionally for over 8 years to a wide range of ages and abilities. Wherever you're at in music, I will guide you to your next breakthrough moment. My background as a professional jazz guitarist has led me to delve deep into music theory, and I've been fortunate to be able to put the concepts I've learned into action and improve greatly as a musician through learning and doing.
