Cory is great! My 9 year old learns new skills every lesson (weekly). Cory definitely keeps him challenged, meaning the lessons aren't boring. Some of the sounds are not easy to produce and Cory is very good at explaining different ways to achieve those sounds. I'm impressed with how much my child has learned in just 5 lessons. Now that we're past the trial period, it looks like he's hooked and we'll be continuing for the foreseeable future!

Experienced beatboxer of over 15 years available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn the foundations of beatboxing as well as more advanced techniques and styles. I specialize in vocal percussion and also have microphones, a loop station, pedals, speakers, and more available to use during in person lessons.

Beatboxing

I am a professional singer, beatboxer, audio engineer, and music director who specializes in contemporary a cappella music! I graduated from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts in vocal music. I’m also an experienced actor; I can help build confidence in your performances.

I perform often with a variety of musicians at all levels - I've performed with school choirs, community choirs, The Maccabeats, Josh Groban, and more. I have also performed at many well-known venues such as the Nikon at Jones Beach, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, The White House, and more. I travel both nationally and internationally to perform and often find myself singing with the communities I travel to. I have judged singing competitions, given masterclasses to a variety of singing groups, and taught classes at music festivals.

As a teacher I want you to succeed! I am always happy to discuss your goals and aspirations as we work together to find a plan of action that best suits your needs, whether that be sight reading, vocal technique, or anything else!

I'm an internationally-ranked beatboxer with extensive a cappella, beatbox battle, and performance experience. You should expect to have a great grasp of the basics after the first couple of lessons. Soon after, you'll learn some intermediate sounds and techniques as well as how to create more complex beats. Throughout every lesson, I will always stress that an excellent sense of time, groove, and sound consistency is key. Whether your desire is performing with a group, creating solo beatbox compositions, or simply showing off to your friends, I've got you covered!

Hi there! I'm Michael a.k.a. Match, and I've been delivering high-energy beatbox performances for several years! I recently finished a seven-month stint in the beatbox and tap dance-infused show, Noiseboys (from the creators of Choir of Man) onboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest vessel, the Prima. I hold a B.A. in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance from Delaware State University, and teach beatbox lessons to students of all ages, vocal percussion workshops with high school and college students, and have taught beatbox classes at A Cappella festivals across the world. In the past, I was a member of the Baltimore-based A Cappella ensemble, ember. With ember, I took first place in the Mid-Atlantic Semifinal at the 2018 Varsity Vocals A Cappella Open, as well as Outstanding Vocal Percussion, and competed in The Open finals at Carnegie Hall in NYC. I'm no stranger to the competitive beatbox scene either! I've been top 16 in the USA and remain a top contender in the country as well as on the international stage, and have picked up multiple top 4 placements among major international competitors including national champions from France, Canada, Austria, and more!

I'm a beatboxer and multi-instrumentalist with a passion for beatboxing and live looping. I teach others to beatbox by breaking down the fundamentals in a fun and easy way that anyone can expand upon with more focus. 

Our lessons can be casual or serious and I always try to tailor the expierence to one that suits your needs as a student.

Lessons in the studio or online, piano, guitar, full PA System, microphones, vintage 80s synthesizers, drum machine, modern synthesizer, touch pad effects interfaces, full recording studio interface with professional studio monitors for mixing.
 
Equipment
In accordance with health and safety standards, we do not share microphones. It is highly recommend you invest in a Shure SM58 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone. It is the industry standard stage microphone for vocalists. They run about $99 USD, a great investment in yourself as a beatboxer and vocalist. Protect this microphone in a padded bag or case and bring it to rehearsal and gigs!

Specialties
I currently perform with a band playing real instruments with my beatbox in place of a traditional drummer. I also produce and release a synthwave music/video project and have released music on all major streaming platforms.

Hi, I'm Jordan and I am a professional beatboxer and live loop artist. I am a former participant in the American Beatbox Championship in New York City, NY as well as a semifinalist in the Midwest Beatbox Battle in Columbus, Ohio. 

I am currently beatboxing in a band with two others that play real instruments. The band plays out regularly regionally east coast USA.

I have experience professionally as an audio engineer and video producer, and I produce my own side electronic music project available on all major platforms. 

I have performed at a wide variety of events, from hip hop shows, to fundraisers, to professional sporting events, and I have performed at venues such as World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, PA as well as the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, PA. 

I have experience providing Beatboxing 101 workshops to elementary education students as an in school visitor. I also volunteer through the library system to offer Beatboxing 101 sessions. Students learn fundamentals of beatbox and how to make their first beat.
