With over 30 years of public speaking as a radio host with a two hour weekly program, as a concert pianist giving Salons and Master Classes speaking to thousands of people live, internationally as well as on television and radio, I am well experienced and qualified to help you achieve great results!
Some of my other experience is in broadcasting including work with NPR and UofR as well as doing some comedy, acting, film and voice over throughout the years. My work and practice on both coasts in psychology of performance while coaching corporate and private clients in presentation techniques has helped many people.
We will work on the specific issues that are unique to each of us and on general ones to we all have to face. Forget about stress and worry in front of others. Forget about judgement of self and that of others. Forget about the fear you think will never go away.

He created a welcoming environment in our online lessons that made it easy to be vulnerable and get right to working on new skills.
I highly recommend for others looking to better understand their voice and communication style, and learn to hone them.
Joseph’s technical ‘short cuts’ are amazing! He illustrates ways for your hands and your mind to work that are tailor made for you. Learning from him is so fun it seems almost effortless.
The way Joseph teaches allows you to develop at your own pace. The atmosphere is always relaxed yet everything moves along quickly.
At the open classes I attend, his other students are progressing very rapidly too. After each class, we share our impressions. The mood is elated because it feels like we stepped back in time and into history.
Joseph often quotes inspired wisdom of his historic teachers in our lessons. He is a great inspiration on his own with great musical insights.
I’m playing Beethoven and Chopin works I never thought I could approach at this stage of study, with great depth of understanding. I now play with greater passion and skill, get compliments from everyone I play for, and no longer worry about playing in public.
I look forward to each and every lesson with Joseph. His encouragement and support makes learning so rewarding! Anyone who finds this musical treasure is a lucky person and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Book NowWith my computer science background and other variety of sciences, I had to take a lot of Math classes. Also, I have always had a easier time in Math and Sciences growing up. I do sympathize with others that have it harder, which is why I decided to use my talent to help others. I truly believe that a teacher can really influence a student experience of a subject. I really hope my service will help any student to see the beauty in Math.

I'm an experienced math teacher of 5 years and I love helping others to discover the excitement and beauty of math! I believe that everyone has the ability to do math, and I work to tailor my lessons to each student's unique way of thinking. Most of my teaching experience has been with students who do not naturally gravitate towards mathematical thinking. I enjoy finding ways to translate math concepts into various forms so that students can understand them more easily. Sometimes that means drawing a picture or using a metaphor - I keep exploring with my students until we have found the solution together. My goal is to give my students confidence and tools to be able to master math on their own.
About Clare
I have a background in both math and teaching, with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and masters degree in education. I've worked in education, data analysis, and teaching, but I most enjoy working one-on-one with students through tutoring. I work to help students realize how much they

Through a series of writing exercises, reading out loud of written pieces, and discussion, we'll work through finding your unique writer's voice. Topics can range as widely as you'd like, but will also be assigned by me. You can use these techniques for fiction or nonfiction, historical or observational writing. We'll also discuss your audience and the message you're trying to convey.
As an award-winning author and long time writer for music publications and other subject and lifestyle blogs, I'll put you on the right path to find total comfort with your writer's voice.

I am an avid reader myself, and I have experience with students who have dyslexia, ADHD, or for whom English is a second language, as well as students who may just need a little bit of extra practice/help.
I have a good sense of what aspects of reading are difficult for students, and often incorporate music, rhythm, rhyme, drama/acting, and humor, to help struggling readers.
