About Olivia
I love to create. The way I'm most comfortable creating is through writing; whether it's a song, a short story, a poem or a script. Writing has always been the bass line in my life; the heartbeat.

Music and film are both passions of mine. I graduated from Berklee College of Music where I studied Songwriting and Music Therapy. I was pushed to my absolute limits lyrically and musically within these majors, and I am so grateful for it now that I'm on my own creative journey.

I have a great deal of experience, but I am also still learning. I think it is very important as a teacher to always be learning, especially through their students. Teaching these lessons is, of course, about progress and advancement - but also about enjoyment, confidence building and positive encouragement.

Awesome

Finding Olivia was no coincidence. My 11 year old daughter is so psyched when she has her lessons!
It is in Liv's home, just a 10 minute ride from where we live,it's warm, safe, and filled with talent.
The passion of music is everywhere you look,Daphne and Olivia are
Ike old souls that just jive together perfectly.
Daphne has gained confidence,a mentor, and a ton of fun,
I thought Daphne was on a short lived path,as kids often jump from one idea to the next, but I believe singing is something she will definitely peruse.
I am so pleased with Take Lessons and especially Olivia.

Wonderful!

She is very patient, organized, and makes things fun. She cares very much about what I personally want out of the lessons, and makes steady progress at a very natural pace.

About Ross
Ross has been teaching for five years in both a school environment - in which he helped develop a performing arts department from the ground up - as well as private lessons, where his students succeeded musically and theatrically, having performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, with the Rockettes, and on international tours. His teaching philosophy is simple. Everyone can sing, most simply don't know how.

As a performer himself, Ross is a singer, actor, and photographer who graduated from the prestigious New York University with a Dual-Degree Master's of Music in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy. He has performed across the country regionally and on tour, in such iconic roles as "Marius" in Les Miserables, "Jack" and "The Baker" in Into the Woods, "Roger" in A New Brain, and "Anthony" in Sweeney Todd.

About Hasaan
I have obtained a degree in Menswear Design and Marketing from Fashion Institute of Technology and a degree in Applied Science Visual Communications from Katharine Gibbs School. I’ve taught garment construction, sketching and CAD design classes (Adobe Suite) for five years and have over 17 years of experience in the fashion industry. I have taught these skills to adolescents and adults in various programs including: Day and evening classes in afterschool s, summer programs
As a teacher, my main goal is to motivate students to do their best and extend their own personal limits. I devise programs, according to syllabus requirements, that expand on previous knowledge and encourage students to explore new and interesting possibilities. I encourage students to construct their own learning in an environment that stimulates and helps student
s to realize their full potential. I have had some excellent results with students who have a history of poor performance.

I had a tight time schedule to finish a summer project before I went in for surgery and Hasaan was very sensitive to that. He was able to teach me new skills in pattern making and cutting that made the process easier/ more accurate as well as sewing techniques. I would say my experience with him was very positive and he was always cheerful and and in a great mood and helped me out a lot with my project. I would definitely recommend using him for lessons.

Hasaan Roselle has taught and directed our summer camp program, Camp Fashion Design for four years now. His passion for fashion is clearly evident as he steps our campers through the basics of sketching and fashion construction. Girls are intrigued and motivated as he shares with them his knowledge of fashion and his many years of experience in the industry. Moreover, his easy going personality and his attention to every detail make him a wonderful choice for a fashion design instructor. We have found him to be patient, caring and considerate with our students as they learn the intricate ins and outs of this sometimes overwhelming industry. Not only is he encouraging, he also allows students to step 'outside of the box' and to explore new ideas instead of always following the conventional path. We like that a lot. This is how the next generation of new, young designers is created! We highly recommend his services and we look forward to him joining us once again next summer at Camp Fashion Design!

I am an Assistant Fashion Designer, who has been working in the industry for 6 years (both in ateliers and corporate teams) and have worked on many brands such as Simply Vera, Halston, Kensie, Layla as well as custom garments for high clientel and Kelly Clarkson's Piece by Piece tour. Currently, I work as an assistant designer for the Jessica Simpson intimates license. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Design, specializing in Intimate apparel.
As a fashion designer, programs like Adobe Illustrator are extremely important for speed and product production, technical development and sketching new ideas. Even though I specialize in fashion design, I love to use this skill to free sketch side projects. I would love to help you, at any level and help to enhance your graphic illustration ability.
Illustrator is a second language to me, as I have been using the program for approximately 10 years.
I look forward to working with you and enhancing your proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.

Stephanie is really understanding, kind, and spends time answering and explaining questions I don't understand thoroughly. She takes her time to deconstruct methods/techniques so that I can later apply them to other projects with ease. Stephanie has boosted my confidence and understanding of Adobe Illustrator and can do the same for anyone at any level of experience.

Hi! In 2006 I graduated from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Fashion Design. I immediately began a 10-year career as a menswear designer at Macy's. Since college, I have loved using the Adobe programs for a myriad of projects.

I have always wanted to be a teacher and in 2015 I made a career change and became a College Professor. I currently teach digital design at LIM College, I am an instructor at New York School of Design and I do private lessons. I am also a freelance illustrator.

While my background is in fashion, I have used and taught the programs for other topics such as painting, creating logos, interior design, etc. I love teaching and helping people accomplish their goals.

I would love to work with you!
