From a young age, I have always played a musical instrument. I learned piano at a young age, and fell in love with the saxophone in my late teens. After graduating high school, I pursued a degree in music and graduated with honors, obtaining my Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance. Since graduating, I have devoted countless hours to my art of music and teaching.

Having studied Saxophone for 13 years, I have a strong grasp on the technical and artistic nuances of the instrument. I have performed works such as the Glaznov Concerto in Eb for Alto Saxophone, Creston Sonata, Concertino da Camera by Jacques Ibert, and Improvisations 1,2, and 3 by Ryo Noda.

I have performed in multiple operas, including Der Zauberflöte, Pirates of Penzance, and Amahl and the Night Visitors. Beyond opera, I have participated in multiple chamber ensembles, as well as choirs varying from the MMEA Collegiate Honor Choir to vocal quartets.​

I have studied classical voice from the age of 13 with instructors from The Metropolitan Opera. I have sung classical arias in Italian, German, French and Latin.

In our lesson, we will focus on the three pillars of singing: Alignment, breathing, and relaxation. We will work on classical vocal technique through simple exercises. I have exercises for people of all vocal ranges and types. I will adapt my lessons to your specific needs.

We will select the perfect music for you to work on, and I will accompany you on piano. If the music is in a foreign language, I can work on pronunciation with you. If needed, I will record piano tracks for you to practice in between lessons.

Our voice is the most personal expression we can share. I feel very passionate about helping others create a personalized 'toolkit' of exercises designed to promote proper posture, ease of breath support and help guide the vocal explorer in developing their most perfect resonance and pitch control. The end result is the ability to sing, speak, stand and move with relaxed authenticity by encouraging a calmly energized physical demeanor which increases confidence.

My foundation is bel canto technique; to expand range, create full tone, sing with ease & power, build breath support & learn to maintain vocal health.

I've taught voice for over 18 years, backed by a lifetime of performing & 12 years of private vocal studies. I also lived and worked in Los Angeles for 12 years.

I come from a varied background, including classical voice, both as a soloist and in a choral setting. I have also studied and performed in musical theater, pop, rock and roll, and contemporary Christian styles for over 10 years. Whatever your interests as a singer, I am here to help guide you through your musical journey.

I have competitive experience in both art song and opera. Whether you are a total beginner, or have polished material in every romance language and want to add more rep, I will help expand your technique and understanding of classical singing and the voice.

I strive to help students find their most natural voice. Learning how to sing is hard but singing shouldn't be hard. After our first lesson I hope to set you up with tools and skills that will make singing easier and freer. By focusing on breathing, releasing tension, and natural sounds we will find your true voice!
