I have been teaching for over a decade and have been a professional singer for 15 years! I will get you ready for that audition/ performance and build your confidence up. I believe in safe singing and will not be harming your voice in anyway. Have worked with 5 year olds to 75 year olds- love music of all kinda and the unique qualities that each voice has.

I would like nothing better than to help you discover and develop your voice's greatest potential. Singing embodies many elements including proper tone production, rhythmic accuracy, proper diction and connecting to and sharing the emotional content of a song. It is a personal journey for singers to learn how to integrate all those elements into their own instruments and I will act as your trusted and supportive guide throughout the process. I have a master's degree in classical vocal performance from the renowned Manhattan School of Music and performed with opera companies in New York City. Currently, in New Orleans, I sing with the joyous Shades of Praise interracial gospel choir. I have had the privilege of studying with some of the finest voice teachers, conductors and coaches that America has to offer and I would love to share that combined knowledge with others. I love teaching others to sing and perform, and I've been doing so for over 20 years - through private lessons, music theater workshops, music schools and choruses. I work with students where they are at and help them to build a solid technique that works for them.
