Singing is one of the most joyful activities you can do! Anyone can learn to sing.
I love teaching others to sing and perform, and I've been doing so for over 20 years - through private lessons, music theater workshops, music schools and choruses. I work with students where they are at and help them to build a solid technique that works for them.

Building a positive learning environment is at the very core of my teaching philosophy. The lesson and the practice room are the times to make mistakes and learn how to reach your fullest potential! I offer well-rounded lessons, focusing on basic music theory, technique, expressive playing, and developing an understanding of why we make mistakes while practicing. My lessons can cover everything from the very basics to orchestral excerpts/audition preparation. Let’s get started!

My student centered approach is inspired by engaging with a healthy technique (e.g. natural body movements of the hand, arm, and foot), musicianship (e..g. music vocabulary), and music theory (e.g. note naming, rhythm through chord identification etc..) Students will be able to explore repertoire ranging from European classical to American contemporary repertoire (e.g. jazz, gospel, pop etc...) Musical activities will enhance the lesson in our pursuit of developing your musical reading, piano technique, and personal voice!
