This was my first private lesson with Dr. Daniel, most importantly he made me feel very comfortable and I wasn't afraid to sing notes in front of him. Dr.Daniel took the time to gather my history and take notes about what I said. Dr. Daniel was very thorough for our first visit, even though I had only booked my first class to be 30 minutes. I look forward to taking more lessons with him and am excited for our next lesson! Thank you so much!

Though my time as a student with Dr. Dan was short, it was very valuable. Even though the lessons were about singing, it helped me gain a general confidence in myself regarding posture, and using a loud voice. He has given a number of exercises to develop my breathing, vibrato, tone, and lower registers to use on my own. Dr. Dan is a great teacher who makes the atomsphere of the lessons very friendly and I would highly recommend him!

I've been teaching private music lessons since 2006, and have taught students from age 4 to 65! I use my classical background and commercial singing experience to help students learn a well-rounded vocal technique that's focused on healthy singing while finding the best stylistic techniques to really help you shine. I work with students who are preparing for auditions, aspiring towards professional success, or want to sound a little better rocking out in their car!

About Annie
Annie brings a unique set of experiences to every musical venture she embarks on. She is a classically trained vocalist who traveled the country and the world with the renowned Millikin University Choir during her undergraduate studies. Adams graduated with a degree in Commercial music, and spent her time outside of University Choir singing in jazz and contemporary ensembles, working and performing in the recording studio, and practicing songwriting. After graduation, she moved to Nashville, where she resides today, writing and performing original country music under the stage name Annie Kennedy. All of these experiences make her a well rounded and versatile performer and teacher. For her students, she can help them find their unique voice and style, while teaching classical sensibilities and vocal technique for healthy delivery and perfo
rmance.

As a singer, I often hear people from all walks of life lament about their inability to carry a tune and how they wish they had been born with the ability to sing. I believe that everybody has a voice worth sharing and cultivating: the first step in that journey is to find the right voice teacher.

I frequently work with students interested in developing a technique suitable for pop music and musical theater (techniques like belting), as well as students looking to begin or further their training as classically trained singers.

My teaching philosophy utilizes classically informed techniques and methodologies in order to get students to where they want to be: whether you want to sing opera, musical theater, or pop, I will help you to find and nurture your unique voice in a supportive and safe environment.

I work with students of all ages and levels. Please feel free to contact me in order to set up a trial lesson.

Singing is so fun and students love it especially when they see how much they improve with their voice after just having a few lessons. I have been teaching voice for over 8 years and will work with the student to build them a strong, healthy voice technique!

During singing lessons we usually have 5-10 minutes of warming up and singing vocal exercises. We will then work on the student's song choices and cover in depth with training in breathing, range, pitch, stylistic techniques, and presentation.

About Christina
Christina is a multi-talented musician who has been involved with music all her life and experienced teaching students private piano and voice lessons for over 8 years. She is passionate and motivated to teach her students and let them reach their fullest musical potential that they've always wanted. Students can expect quality lessons and get the most progress out of their time. My teaching style is laid back and flexible. However, I do get straight to the point and direct my students in the right direction to improve in areas that they need. Each student will be given a personalized lesson plan depending on their skill level and after meeting with me and I will decide what will suit best for him/her. My goal is to keep students happy with learning what they love, engage in the lessons, have fun, and most importantly make the most progre
ss possible.

I am an experienced singing teacher of two years, (with assistant training for 6 years prior) who specializes in healthy belting and resonance. I am a professional musical theatre performer, and have a unique perspective on auditions etc. I like to cultivate a positive, encouraging atmosphere in our lessons, while still pushing you to be the best that you can be. No matter what your vocal struggles are, I can help. Message me to see what I can do for you!

About Alyssa
I'm a singer and actress from Raleigh, North Carolina. I have extensive experience in the theatre world including assistant teaching, musical directing, assistant directing and interning. I have received numerous vocal awards over the years, from organazations such as NATS and Hal Leonard. In addition, I have been cast in many professional shows, and training programs. Let me know if you'd like to see a copy of my resume.

When studying with me, a student can expect to feel heard and understood. I can work with any vocal issue, including tension, breathing, resonance, etc. While my specialty is healthing belting, I also have a history of classical training, which I use when teaching legit musical theatre styles. I am still in the industry, and so have a finger on the pulse of what directors, casting agents and studios are looking for.

In
addition to musical theatre, I also teach pop, jazz and worship styles. Each voice is unique and beautiful, and I will work with you to become the best (and healthiest) that you can be while still staying true to your natural sound.

Whether you are at a professional level, or just looking to have some fun, I would love to work with you. As your teacher, I can create a customized warm-up track for your voice, which will help you improve daily. This can be used throughout the week to practice. Upon request, I can also send a weekly "homework" packet with a written summary of our lesson that day. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more relaxed approach, I can do that as well. Whether you want to be pushed or start slow, I'll be right there with you.

About Zoe
Hey you! I'm Zoe from Alexandria,VA. I studied vocal performance at James Madison University as a music major and loved every second of it. While at JMU, I started teaching voice to high school and other college students.
