It was truly a pleasure meeting Concetta for my first ever violin lesson. It is difficult to learn anything at the age 40, specially a musical instrument, but she made it comfortable and easy to understand. She's extremely patient a key quality when teaching a subject such a music to anyone. I would say, give her teaching style a try and you won't regret it. Very knowledgeable indeed.

I've been teaching piano for eight years and specialize in beginner - intermediate students with a focus on technique, theory and reading music. I've taught all ages from as young as 3 years old to 70+. I usually use the Alfred's Basic Piano Library method books as they have a great balance of theory and songs, while being very easy to follow. I also have a wide range of sheet music and songbooks for students to choose pieces from, including Classical, Jazz, Film scores, and classic-modern pop music.

About Gabbi
I am a professional vocalist and composer, with a BFA and BMus in Jazz Performance, and over 10 years of performance and recording experience internationally, including appearances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center with NY's premiere a cappella ensemble Khorikos, and the Knitting Factory with Brooklyn-based indie band RVBY MY DEAR; as well as commercial voiceover work for major brands. I specialize in teaching Jazz, Pop/Contemporary, Broadway and Choral singing, songwriting, theory, ear training and arranging, as well as Beginner – Intermediate Piano.
All ages and levels are welcome - including college and high school students preparing for auditions! Whether you’re looking to take your music to the next level professionally, or want to learn just for fun, lessons are tailored to your ability and musical interests. I don't believe in a
one-size-fits-all approach to music, and I encourage and guide my students to find what it is about their voice that makes them unique.
