An experienced guitar player of 13 years. Especially good with beginners including both very young and older students. It's never too early or late to start playing! Will cater a specific personal lesson plan to your desires to make sure we move at YOUR best pace. We'll build a solid foundation so that you can learn how to teach yourself and continue to grow and love music long after these lessons. We can get you up and running with your favorite tunes or start delving into the musical theory side of things. I make sure that our lessons are fun but also challenging and I make sure we spend some time learning how to build finger strength, how to improvise, and (most importantly) how to play with other musicians!

I have been teaching professionally for 20 years. As a graduate of Berklee College Of Music and a performer with over 30 years experience I have a wide variety of styles and technique to take my students in almost any direction they want to go. Blues , Classic Rock, Jazz, Folk, Country and Songwriting. Every student is an individual with separate needs and wants. I'll help you reach new goals as well as help you correct any bad habits that might be preventing you from moving forward. Whether your a beginner , intermediate or advanced, any age , I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations while having a wonderful time!

I began my teaching career at Guitar Center in Dallas, successfully teaching over 30 students weekly. All students are encouraged to be the best musicians they can. I have a strong growth mentality that gives students the motivation to learn. Students are then given tools to succeed. I have formulated my own teaching style to make learning music easier. I am comfortable teaching all ages and levels of knowledge. Lessons are tailored to the goals of each student. Together, we will be building an understanding of note reading, technique, music theory, ear training, and sight reading. You will learn, but we will have fun.
