I've been in LA over 20 years. I graduated with a BA in Theater and Film from University of Southern California. I'm a member of SAG; having appeared across countless television series as co-star, guest-star, recurring, and series regular. I'm an award-winning actor and producer. I've had films at Sundance, Tribeca, Seattle Film Festival and many others. I starred in and produced CIRCLE, a film I sold to Netflix. Most recently, my series DARK/WEB premiered on Amazon Prime. We were also invited by San Diego Comic-Con to present an official panel to fans last summer. I have worked with most of the reputable acting coaches here in Los Angeles and have accumulated the styles and techniques I like best from each to synthesize my own approach. I am a graduate of the Groundlings School of Improv and Comedy.

As someone who has no experience in acting, Michael made learning the basics feel easy & intuitive. I learned so much in just a short amount of time thanks to Michael's guidance.

Hi my name is Abby. I started taking classes because I want to make my own movie and star in it. I know for me to get to that goal I need to acquire the knowledge and skills of acting. Mr. Nardelli is teaching me the fundamentals of acting. To date, my range has thoroughly improved since day one. I can’t even believe my own progress. He pulls emotions from me and shows me how to use them through my acting which is amazing. Mr. Nardelli works with me for things that I need to improve and extracts things out of me that I didn’t even know I had. I truly enjoy the classes and wish I would have done them sooner.

I've always wanted to explore acting, but I honestly didn't know where to start! I wasn't looking to start a career as an actor, I just wanted to learn the basics. I had absolutely no experience whatsoever but I reached out to Michael and asked if he could teach me 'acting 101'. My experience working with Michael was absolutely amazing... he walked me through the beginner's steps and worked alongside me so I would be comfortable. He was very patient and used layman's terms to explain things for me to understand. I know Michael is an established actor and has been for a long time so, his meeting me at my level was so helpful and appreciated. I feel.... from working with him, I am ready to take my acting to the next level and for the first time in my life, I actually entertain the thought of it being a career choice for me.

I was a Theater Arts major at Trinity University where I took part in several productions, including Cabaret, Trojan Women, Chemin de Fer and Die Fledermaus. AT San Antonio Little Theater I performed in No, No, Nanette and Philemon. As a student at UTSA, I performed in Trial by Jury, Boris Godunov, Iolanthe and the Madrigal Christmas Dinners. I was hired by UTSA as a paid performer in the Madrigal Christmas dinners from 1984 to 1989. This job involved a lot of improvisation. From 1989 to 1995 I taught Music and Drama at Converse Elementary. In the 1990's I performed in The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni as part of the San Antonio Festival. I have done freelance work over the years as an improvisational performer for special events. As an elementary music teacher and secondary choir teacher, I have produced and directed numerous programs and musicals. I have taught acting and public speaking to a number of students.

Character acting is, at least in my eyes, the greatest thrill of the performing arts. Being able to embody the complexities of a person or thing that seems completely different from that of yourself is the ultimate mark of a master of the craft of acting. Join me as we explore the various ranges of the human heart and mind. Create a skill set that will make you a director’s favorite actor. I like to teach first from an analytical approach, but then evolve into a point where you can learn to feel in the moment as a character requires. Using proven techniques learned over the 17 years I’ve spent in the business we will prepare you to be able to handle a variety of different roles through technique practices and emotional exercises. Look no further, your path to excellence in character acting starts here!

"Christine is amazing! She is one of the best improv people I have ever seen. Her ability to transform the audience to watch her every gesture is magical! She is a gifted instructor with a loving, caring, down to earth attitude. Quite honestly, I cannot get enough of watching her on stage! I wish I could learn all her skills so I could be half as awesome at improv as she is."

"Christine has the unique ability to combine great teaching with a lot of laughter and fun. She allows her students to feel completely comfortable to say and do anything that comes to mind, for that is what improve is all about: staying in the moment. Her exercises to mold that "improv state of mind" are fantastic and opens you up find humor in just about anything. Her classes not only shaped me into being able to feel comfortable in front of an audience, her teaching has shaped me into not taking things happening in my own life sooooo seriously. Thank you, Christine, for helping me in so many areas of my life, all lthrough your sense of humor and excellent teaching skills."

"Participated in an improv class with Christine a few years ago. Not only was it great fun but made me feel as though I actually had a tiny bit of a goft for it which has proved useful to me when I give talks in the area. As a journalist and author I do a lot of talks and that improv class has proved very valuable and it was educational too."

"First off. Just want to say that we had to cancel our first session. However, I really like this guy because he had kept it real and set it straight on the reason why the session was cancel. He was very sick that day and he didn't want to be involved with the session not being at 100%. Respect! I wouldn't have wanted him not being at his best either. Takes alot of guts for a person to confess that. I really appreciated the honesty because that explains how passionate Randy is about the craft.
Second of all, when we did our first session, I had to deal with a rough technical patch of trying g to join in for the session. He had no problem helping me with this technical glitch rather than allowing TakeLessons (who I was unable to reach because of matainace issues), to handle it. He helped 5he TakeLessons team. A plus Randy! Though I had to finally use another device to finally join the session, Randy was still willing to have patience and help me with the tech problem.
Lastly, Randy brought a warm feeling to the session and yet sincere. He made me feel welcomed, which opened me up more during this session. This helped because I am uncomfortable with improv but want to get better. He understood this and gave a real honest approach. Also, he informed me that we were going to get a gist of my performance level and work from there. Furthermore, we were going to ease our way into improvement. This gave me alot more balance than other improv classes. He is even willing to give me a little homework that I can practice in prep for next week.
Randy is very encouraging and I enjoyed our first session. I'm exited for next week!"
