I'm a professional musician and instructor, teaching various instruments for over ten years. My main instruments are guitar and drums/percussion, but I've also played and taught piano, mandolin, ukulele, and harmonica.

I would love to work with novice ukulele players of any age, to get you through the basics - chords, melodies, rhythms, strumming, finger-picking, and so much more! We can learn popular songs for the ukulele and/or talk about reading and writing music on the ukulele. I'll structure lessons according to the age, skill level, and interest of the student.

About Gio

I studied music at UCF (Orlando), focusing on classical and jazz guitar, but I also have years of experience playing rock, blues, folk, hip-hop, and musical theater on both guitar and drums. I have been teaching guitar, drums, and piano for about eight years to students of all ages. Music is wh

Love to teach beginners and intermediate students.
I teach all uke students how to read, theory, songs and how to understand playing the instrument solo or in a group setting.
Uke is capable of doing anything, all one has to do is apply oneself and music can come flowing out of the instrument.

My wife Martha was very please with Paul and the lesson plan.

Paul has been teaching my 10 year-old son for about 8 weeks now and I have to say that I am very happy with his progress. My son opens the piano as soon as he gets home and begins practicing, with no pushing from me. Paul tries to keep the music as relevant as he can, for a beginner like my son, and he is very patient in his listening and teaching.

Mark has been a great teacher for this adult beginner! I take lessons in clawhammer banjo and ukulele with him, and his easy-going nature and skill in identifying ways to improve make it a joyful experience! Highly recommend.

Mr. Sylvester is one of the greatest. He is not just an amazing guitarist, but he is also very kind. He treats people with so much respect. He speaks to me and my mom so nicely. He is very patient. He has a deep knowledge of music and knows how to get the most out of even the least talented people (like me!). He doesn't ever get mad if you make a mistake or forget to bring your music notes. We were so lucky to find Mr. Sylvester.

Mark is a talented musician who plays and teaches multiple stringed instruments. His lessons are always informative and supportive. They are driven by the student’s interest, so anything you want o learn— styles of music, how to do a particular technique, music theory— you can bring to class. And every now and then he organizes a recital— terrifying but great practice!

Mackenzie (Mack) was an excellent teacher. I hadn't had music or voice training since middle school and she was very helpful, despite me being tone deaf. Overall, it was a great experience and now I can sing without embarrassing myself!

"Adam does a great job of adjusting to the student's level of experience. I'm a beginner with some minimal uke experience, and he adjusted the pace of the lesson accordingly. I especially like his emphasis on contemporary music; he seems to have fun with music which, as someone who endured years of strict classical piano training as a kid, I find very refreshing."

"Andrew has been teaching my 11 year old daughter Ukulele lessons for several months. He is a great instructor and especially good at working with youth, as he is patient and understanding. He makes the lessons and learning fun, which has encouraged my daughter to want to practice her Ukulele at home on her own, without me having to ask her to practice her lessons. She has loved having Andrew as her instructor and I would highly recommend him for both youth and adults!"
