We will explore Shakespeare's plays technically and contextually to bring to light the character’s motives and intentions.
*We will learn to communicate Shakespeare's ideas with clarity and specificity by observing all rhetorical devices found within the heightened language
(Antithesis/Paradox, Alliteration/Assonance, Imagery/Metaphor, Wordplay/Pun, Rhythm/Rhyme & Tempo, Irony, Iambic Pentameter/Prose, etc)
The ultimate goal is to create a fun and new experience which inspires you to feel confident in understanding and speaking Shakespearean text!

Well you can start by calling me Zo! I've trained for about 10 years in Theatre. My first home of training was at the Stella Adler Studio Of Acting in NYC. At Stella Adler, I've learned the foundation and I am a 2019 graduate of the Juilliard school where I received my BFA wings. I think developing a personal relationship with you or breaking the ice before anything speaks volumes and makes everyone comfortable. We have to be comfortable in order to do the uncomfortable. Safety and confidence is what drives bold choices. Every student has different needs. My goal is to give you different ways of approaching the craft. How is today different from all other days? What do we learn from this scene? The most important thing we can change is how we rehearse. So lets dive into the script, have fun and bring your justified creativity out within the world of the play.

Crystal has increased my daughterâs self-esteem and expressiveness through song. My daughter is now writing her own poetry and song lyrics, as well as being able to combat her once shyness quality. She loves to perform in front of others now and has a confidence level that amazes me, especially now that she is going into those âteenâ years. I think a lot of thanks needs to go to Crystal, for assisting my daughter in reaching her current creative level!
Crystal is an amazing piano instructor. She is patient, understanding and dedicated. My daughter has learned so much from her. My daughterâs love for music has increased immensely since learning how to play the piano. This would never have been able to be accomplished without Crystalâs professional and caring teaching style.
