As an avid professional choral singer in New York City, I know just how powerful singing in choir can be. I also have had the privilege of recording professionally with Signum Records, and have toured nationally with many of the leading United States ensembles.
Perhaps you'd like help with music theory, ear training, audition preparation, or choral singing techniques. I am here to help you achieve your goals!

I specialize in working with adult beginners :). I started dancing 7.5 years ago at 15 years old and I understand what an adult or teen beginning dancer needs to know in order to be safe, have fun, and make progress :). I hold a BFA in classical and modern dance performance from Adelphi University and I love to teach and choreograph fun classes. It can be very hard to find classes that will go above the beginner level as an adult dancer, so I want to support my students in a way that helps them continually progress as dancers.
I am a also an ACE certified personal trainer, so my advice and classes are backed by 7.5 years of dance experience as well as a knowledge of fitness and excersise science. I like to tailor programs to my students' needs and incorporate elements of fitness into the ballet training so that students can progress faster and grasp the fundamentals of movement before we do anything super hard.
I'm a professional dancer with experience in modern, ballet, and contemporary dance. I also took 3 years of dance composition (choreography) in college and I love to make fun and interesting combos for my students to work on in class :) I have 7.5 years of dance experience and 2.5 years of teaching

Activate your energy body through rehearsing all the various pelvic motions of the mysterious art of belly dancing. There are four courses and each course is broken down into 6 sessions that each last 15 minutes (5 minutes of stretching + 10 minutes of learning). The courses are as follows:
-Tap into Your Femininity through the use of Movement
-Connecting to Excitement with Fiery Movements
-Connecting to your Sensuality
-Confidence through Belly dance
I am heavily invested in helping the student meet their potential and then pushing that threshold.
Thank you Janalee, you played a pivotal role of my success !!!!

My strong background in Vocal Pedagogy includes a working knowledge of the anatomy of the vocal mechanism and the acoustical physics of sound production. These fundamentals can be applied for significant and often immediate improvement in sound quality both in sing and in spoken word. Targeted diagnosis of the issues and clear remedies are the name of the game. These lessons are for those that are looking to gain confidence and stamina for presentations at work, or for those looking to overcome speech difficulties.

From my experience auditioning and performing classical singing, piano, theatre, musical theatre, and dance as well as sitting on the other side of the audition panel and in the audience, I am well equipped to help with stage performance. Through these experiences I have learned that stage performance in any performing art form requires a similar mindset and preparation tactic. This involves polishing the repertoire to maximize confidence as well as using tools to overcome nerves to enjoy the process of performing music. Any stage performer is welcome!
Music is my great passion, and I have recently received my Master’s degree in classical vocal performance at the Mannes School of Music. Well-versed in many musical genres, I have performed in opera, recital, musical theatre, choir and piano performances and competitions in the US as well as intern

As someone who coaches youth soccer for work, and have been coaching for 17 years, I was impressed with Sara's motivational, patient, enthusiastic, preparedness, and efficient qualities/capabilities.
My niece and I worked Sarah on a choreographed routine. My most important post-session measurements are if the participants learned, had fun, and wanted to do more, which was how my niece was feeling at the end.
Thanks a bunch Sara!"

Hollywood actress, Rosalind Russell once said; “Acting is standing up naked and turning around very slowly.” Although meant as a joke, this is the best description of acting I have ever heard. At the core of acting, is truth and vulnerability. You cannot hope to be a successful actor without baring your heart and soul for the craft. But what exactly is the craft? The History of Acting In order to truly understand acting, one must understand the history of the craft. And, what a history i …
