It's an amazing feeling when you find someone who is a master at the craft and can teach it too!

Shauna's previous extensive theatre training and instruction is UNDENIABLE. Because of this, she brings much more to the table than the average acting coach.

She made me realize there's SO much more than just breaking down a scene and creating a character. She made me think about where the character is going physically as well as emotionally, and why. I continue to grow and improve with each lesson with her. I'm so lucky to have found Shauna, and strongly recommend her to all actors.

It's most important that I get a feel for what *you* want to achieve from your lessons, thus I'm a flexible teacher. Whether it be for professional writing or writing in your backyard, it's my job to provide you with the tools to sharpen your own, and bring other skills level with the areas in which you already dominate. As is the case for many (including myself as a kid), picking up writing often comes as the result of wanting to emulate another artist (my influences include Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and The Matrix songwriting team).

About Jake

Hey there! My name is Jake, and I'm a lifetime musician. I began playing guitar and taking lessons 19 years ago (at age 8), and writing songs at 5!... my grandma recalls asking me to play "number 5" on the piano, and I'd do as I was asked, right from memory. Guitar, songwriting, and singing have lo

My lessons are geared towards fostering a healthy, confident singer from beginner to advanced levels. Providing you with the necessary tools in order to adapt to any situation, whether on stage or in studio. Building your instrument to weather adversity comes from a grounded and functional technique that fits your individual voice. Most importantly, singing should be a joy! I want to give you the confidence to have fun, too.
Through my over 15 years of experience singing professionally I’ve performed in every venue imaginable. From lead roles in operas to performing at venues like the Forum to singing on Disney soundtracks, I want to pass on the technique which has allowed me a career with longevity and flexibility.
A singer’s unique voice is a huge asset. I don’t want you to sound like everyone else. I want you to sound like you. That’s where a healthy foundation can give you the guidance to sound like the best version of you.

About Michael

I am a professional vocalist in Los Angeles with singing credits ranging from opera to Disney. With over 15 years of professional experience, I practice what I teach to maintain my voice and have been lucky to have had great teachers along the way. I started my career in opera and choral ensemble

I had so much fun taking my singing lessons with Michael! It can be somewhat intimidating and daunting to sing in front of someone at first, but Michael was very relaxed and has a very approachable personality.
From just a few of our sessions, I have learned so much about my voice. I have also been noticing a few desireable results while implementing techniques that Michael has introduced to me. I am very exciting to continue my voice lessons with him, and I highly recommend that you do so as well!

"I started taking guitar lesson with Lucian, but our theory work inspired me to buy a keyboard, so now I take both guitar and piano on alternating weeks. As much as I still enjoy the guitar, I LOVE my piano lessons. Apparently my piano has come along well enough that my girlfriend now wants lessons for both her and her child. That is no small compliment coming from her! I'm 43, but I would recommend Lucian to anyone at any age, so long as you're willing to put in the practice. I've had a half dozen guitar instructors, not to mention teachers of various subjects and levels. Lucian is among the best."

Learn Guitar Now | How to Read Tabs

Although learning to read sheet music is a valuable skill for any musician, most guitarists prefer to use a different type of notation known as guitar tablature or guitar tabs. Guitar tabs give a basic visual representation of the neck of your guitar and use numbers to indicate which notes are to be played. Learning how to read tabs is pretty simple, and, once you get the hang of it, you can easily learn new songs or write down compositions of your own. How to Read Tabs Guitar tabs are …
