I have taken numerous studio classes on the particular style of acting required for film and television versus stage work.

As my student, you can expect a highly personalized experience. Whatever your experience, skill, or comfort level with performing is, I will work with you to make you a more present, spontaneous, and relaxed performer. Maybe you're just starting out as an actor and what some extra coaching. Maybe you've never acted before but want to give it a try. Or maybe you aren't interested in being on stage but want some advice on becoming an effective public speaker. I'm available for monologue advice, audition preparation and coaching, scene work, as well as general acting lessons or help with presentation and public speaking skills.

I believe in using what's unique about you as a person in your performance, so we'll spend time working together on how to bring out the "you" in your acting!

I believe in guiding rather than dictating, so I will always act as the guide to your discoveries rather than dictating what your performance "should" be. My background is primarily in Meisner acting work,

Acting and audition guidance from an experienced, Meisner trained actress and teacher. Specializing in monologue preparation, scene study, voice and speech, character building and Shakespeare, Danielle takes a personalized approach for each student to create an in depth character with strong goals and tactics. Methods will include: beats and scoring a script, defining the journey of a monologue, audition tips and tricks, choosing material which fits the student, cadence and tone, and making unique and strong choices as an actor.

Fun, spontaneity and practicality are the key to Matt's approach! We'll find the humor and excitement in whatever you're working on, with intelligent analysis and more than a little silliness. Matt is experienced in working with all age groups, from 3 1/2 years old to adults.

These lessons are for students pursuing a career in commercial/film acting or perhaps interested in what it takes to become an actor. Students will learn the fundamental terminology, a variety of film/commercial acting techniques, and explore different genres of this industry including voice over work. We work on a variety of tv/film monologues, scene work, character development, and developing our craft.
