I can teach you to sing many styles, all with using proper vocal technique.

About Vanessa
As a vocal teacher I focus on the correct method to singing that helps keep your voice beautiful and healthy.
I earned my bachelors degree in music education with an emphasis in vocals. I learned music appreciation, theory, history, choral singing and classical voice training.
I love music and cannot picture life without it. Music is an expression of life! I also love to teach music to others as I feel I'm passing on a great gift.

*** Lesson Details ***
As a teacher I fall somewhere in between strict and laid back. For instance, if you don't practice I won't scold you, but I will remind you that you can only be as good as you work to be. If you don't want to put in the effort you will waste your time and money, as well as not receive the results that you were desiring.
Our lessons will consist of many vocal exercises, go
od posture, and breathing techniques. One rule that I have is that I don't move you on to another song until you have successfully learned all you can from the first one you try. There is no point in learning another song when you have only learned the first one at a mediocre level.
If you are serious about becoming a better singer/musician you will enjoy our lessons.
I encourage my students to strive for excellence and will do all I can to draw that out of you.

*** Travel Equipment ***
I provide the tools to learn theory, songs to choose from and I do have my own portable keyboard. Students would need to have a tape or digital recorder to record their lessons and a positive attitude.

*** Specialties ***
I specialize in classical voice, and vocal training, (learning how to use your voice properly).

Corbin was fantastic!! He really knows his stuff. I came to him with a few things to work on and he identified them without me telling him. He also picked up on several other items that we addressed. He had some great techniques to help me identify what I could do better and then had the suggestions for improvement. I am looking forward to working with Corbin again. Excellent experience.

What you learn becomes part of you & that's the key to success. Whether you're beginner, advanced, special needs, have a short term issue, long term issue or even damaged vocal chords, whatever your situation, Fawn can handle it all successfully :) Not just in voice, but also in any difficult musical area including songwriting, performance, recording, piano & more.

In Los Angeles, Fawn is the music and entertainment industry's coach known as the one who "gets the job done." Clients have included Grammy and Oscar winners as well as vocalists and actors from The Voice, American Idol, Disney, America's Got Talent, Nickelodeon, X-Factor an
d many others. She has been producing music and vocals in the recording studio, coaching voice, piano, songwriting, rap writing, performance, studio, jazz, blues, classical, pop and artist development for the past 20 years. She was operatically trained by Juilliard instructor Sylvia Bagley, trained as a jazz singer at world re-known Berklee College of Music, where she won several songwriting awards, and was R & B/Pop trained by Vocal Coach To The Stars, Seth Riggs. In 2010 she had a #6 Billboard hit dance song, which she wrote and sang and 2 top 10 hits in 2016. She has written, recorded and performed songs in several different languages for a variety of films, television shows, and commercials such as Nickelodeon's Hollywood Heights, The Natalee Holloway Story, Spike Lee Productions, Barbie, Ponds, Target, Ford, Mazda, Pontiac, The Guiding Light, The Young and The Restless. MTV and several others. Fawn has also sung, written and played in many different styles from Jazz/Blues to Classical to Pop to children's to Opera.

Fawn is a very fun, yet honest and straight-forward coach. She loves working with adults and children, and considers lessons a 'team effort to reach her students' goals. Being that music and the entertainment business are her career and life, she is current and relevant, yet has plenty of old school training to be well rounded and help students build a strong foundation. Music and the entertainment business are her life, and she loves helping people reach their goals and meet their dreams. She has released 5 albums, several singles, won numerous awards and worked with such talents as Grammy winners Lalah Hathaway and Paula Cole, Meredith Brooks, Vampire Diaries Kat Grahm, BT, Jeff Goldblum, Right Said Fred, Ed Townsend, QD3, Club Nuveau's Val Watson, Robbie Benson and shared the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Carol Channing, Kevin Sorbo, Pink, Joss Stone, David Guetta, Katy Perry, Moby, Dionne Warwick, James Torme', David Foster, Thelma Houston, David Pomeranz, War and countless others. Over the years, Fawn has been known to bring students into her inner circle, so they can gain more experience and exposure, taking them to red carpets, events and even putting them up onstage to perform. She remembers having piano, voice and songwriting coaches, and being frustrated in voice because instructors were not addressing issues that needed to be addressed. This is why she creates a positive and comfortable, safe environment so students can open up and progress quickly. Fawn moves straight to the heart of the matter and gets whatever needs work figured out, so students can move on to what their goals and dreams are. She has helped actors be able to sing parts for their TV shows, helped popular bands be able to have good stage performances and presence with precision dancing and singing and has helped vocalists find their true voice. She is able to get piano students as young as 5 to a high-level Concerto level of playing with in 3 years, completely reading the pieces on their own. The youngest person she has ever taught was 3 years old and blind. The oldest person she has ever taught so far taught was 89 years old, after suffering a stroke. She was able to help her get her voice back within 20 minutes of her first lesson. Fawn also does vocal rehabilitation, vocal therapy, and music therapy. She has worked with special needs children with Downs Syndrome, ADHD, ADD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pit Hopkins Disease and more. As far as being a songwriter, Fawn generally writes words and music at the same time but she has also written lyrics and music separately, as well as composed instrumental pieces. Having a strong musical background (20+ years), I was stoked when my boyfriend told me he wanted to improve his piano playing. Let me rephrase that--LEARN how to play piano. He had bought a piano three years earlier and never played it.

He had NO natural musically ability, barely being able to hold a beat let alone understand time and key.

He started lessons in Berkeley for three months and didn't seem to improve, then we found Fawn and signed up for lessons, even though I was skeptical about it being online. Within a month of playing, he was understanding the foundation of music, improv, ect., and Fawn REALLY pushed him. 15 months later he has a solid playing and reading ability, even though his work only allows him 1-2 hours a week of practice. Fawn is teaching both the fundamentals plus improve, scales, etc. that really push him to be a better piano player. She encourages him to chose pieces he loves as well. Soon they will start songwriting. I am thoroughly impressed.

I've been coaching modern vocal technique and performance technique for a decade. I've helped students prepare for auditions with local bands, musical theater productions, and The Voice. Students learn to think of themselves as athletes, and to maintain a workout regimen that keeps their voices strong and agile. My goal is for each student to have fun while gaining skills and confidence.

All of my students have the option to customize their lessons by adding elements of music theory, keyboard skills, or songwriting to their singing lessons.

About Judy
My primary goal as a music educator is to encourage self-expression and individuality. I have a decade of experience helping modern singers young and old find their personal styles and voices, using science-backed vocal technique and a personal workout routine for every student. Singing is the ultimate form of self-expression and can be ground zero for finding confidence, fulfillment and adventure in life.

I also have 15+ years experience teaching music theory, keyboard skills and songwriting, and have been performing for two decades solo and in cover/function bands, as singer, keyboardist and even trombonist.

I hold a Master of Music in Composition from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am also a Certified Personal Coach.

She doesn't sugar coat anything but she always tell you in a nice way so no ones feelings get hurt. She encourages me to do better, she's there to talk about what's going on in my life, like she truly cares. She taught me how to acknowledge all the roles singing plays in. Experienced teacher of 5 years, specializing in classical, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary voice! All ages welcome. Lessons are customized and catered to the needs/goals of each student. Not only will you be singing with greater control and ease, but you will be building a strong foundation of musicianship, ear training and healthy vocal technique, all while having fun. Let's get started!

About Camille
I am a professional singer, voice teacher, and performer. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a BA in Music Education and received my CA teaching credential in music at San Diego State University.

Voice students can expect to improve week to week in their vocal technique. Every voice has a unique timbre; I teach students to release built up tension and apply foundational techniques in order to unlock their own individual sound. I can help any student to sing with freedom, confidence, and expression.

As a professional recording artist, I have sung on sessions with Tim Davis (Glee, ABC's Boy Band) and Damien Jurado (indie singer-songwriter, Sub Pop & Secretly Canadian). I sing with the Los Robles Master Chorale (Oak Park) and Ensoma Creative (San Gabriel Valley), in addition to performing at restaurants and hotels such as E
ureka and Casa 425 (Claremont Village).

I specialize in classical, jazz, musical theater, and contemporary styles, but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every genre. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!

We hired Camille for an event in the fall. She was professional, very easy to work with, absolutely punctual and most of all, she was loved by our guests !! She sings from a wide variety of genres, takes requests and was just a pleasure to have at our event. I can recommend her services without reservation.

I am passionate about helping singers unlock their own voices! With over 18 years of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge that can help you overcome any limitations and sing beautifully. Singing is an expression of joy and has to be learned in a safe, uplifting environment, so I also bring a real sense of compassion, kindness and respect to every singer I teach.

With a certification in the Alexander Technique (body work), I have an intimate understanding of how the voice and the body work. I can coach you to develop the best possible breathing and work with your own body to make amazing improvement in your voice. In addition to freeing your voice, I help you understand how to practice effectively and make positive changes faster.

I welcome every level into my teaching studio from beginning to advanced. Let me show you what I can do for your voice!
