I teach (and have learned languages) through a non-traditional approach, which emphasizes immersion, reading, and developing a love for the culture of the language. I will not make students sit down with grammar tables and conjugations, but rather will teach in a conversational approach

My emphasis is on a dialogue-driven and comparative introduction for the language to draw out a common ground and familiarize possibly daunting differences. I also enjoy asserting that German is often underestimated as a rewarding second language to study.

I taught German in the language lab of a community college, for special needs students, and for private agencies, such as Creative Support, Berlitz Languages, and Tutor Doctor.

I grew up bilingual English and German, attending an international school from a very young age. I attended, also, a German public secondary school, where I earned a diploma, and I completed German credits at the college level.

I am a native German speaker, born in Vienna, Austria to Nigerian parents. I have lived and worked in Nigeria, West Africa; London, United Kingdom; Waageningen, The Netherlands and currently work for a major United States Airline as a German speaking Flight Attendant.
