Amazing instructor! I have taken Korean classes before but it was a struggle. The first day of my tutoring, he explained the basics in such an easy and uncomplicated way. I learned more from that first lesson than I ever had before! Arron also does an excellent job of tailoring the lessons for me. He reviews what I do know quickly and spends more time on the things I don't understand or am struggling to understand. Again he explains what I don't understand is such a simple way and even more comforting he doesn't get frustrated or make me feel dumb when I do struggle. Highly recommended!

I am a recent graduate from Northern Arizona University, but spent all of my childhood living in Seoul, South Korea. Because of this I have become tri-lingual (English, Korean, Japanese). While at university, I was the vice-president and a teacher of the Korean Club which specialized at teaching university students how to speak, write, and read the Korean language since the university did not offer classes. Being from, and spending my life in Korea, I am very familiar with the culture which would greatly help me teach you relevant phrases / vocabulary that would be useful in conversation.

About Jeehyae
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. I spent my first 20 years in Korea. I earned a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University. While completing my studies at NAU, I was the vice-president of the Korean club teaching college students the Korean language (reading, writing, speaking), and culture.

I have experience teaching Korean to students ranging in skill from beginner to advanced. Students can expect to learn not only the language but also Korean culture and how the language is actually used outside of textbooks.

I also worked at the international office at NAU and Ajou University in Korea. So because of this, I am very experienced in teaching and speaking to students who are either learning English or Korean, and have a strong ability to increase their learning speed.

JeeHyae is an amazing teacher! She’s extremely patient, super personable, and not to mention knowledgeable! She gets you speaking quickly, which means her lessons are interactive and welcoming, even to beginners like me! Jeehyae is also incredibly accommodating and encourages you to notify her if you are ever unsure about a specific topic. Once she notices that you’ve learned the section, then she allows you to move on, at your own pace, and ties all of what you’ve learned together in the next class.

I’d highly suggest taking lessons with Jeehyae! She has a natural ability to teach and I look forward to taking more lessons with her!

Do you want to know more about Korea and the language?
I can help you.
I am an experienced Korean language partner from University of Miami for college students since 2015.
From beginner to intermediate, I will be your Korean conversation partner and teacher.

About Hyojung
Hello, my name is Leann Hyojung.

When I was 5 years old, I started my piano training in classical and jazz piano.

I studied Jazz and Pop Piano at the Post Modern Music Dept. at the very famous Kyung Hee University (in South Korea). This is the same school that produced pop stars like Rain, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Primary, Big Bang’s GD and Daesung, TVXQ’s Yunho and Yoochon to name a few.
Since I was in College, I’ve been teaching pop and jazz piano to a variety of students, from beginner to the experienced, at all age levels. I understand every student is not the same, so I make it a priority to adapt my teaching style to match a person’s learning style to maximize the learning session.

While providing lessons to a variety of students, I joined multiple bands and jazz groups playing various genres such as, alternative rock, hi
p-hop, pop, and fusion. In these groups, I played piano concerts, played for various video projects, and also multiple studio recordings.

After I graduated with my Bachelors, I wanted to develop my music knowledge as a jazz composer. Therefore, I prepared and studied hard, and was admitted to the very competitive University of Miami Studio Jazz Writing program which is top 3 in nation for music programs. Since then, I’ve made Miami my home. In addition to playing music, I have been teaching Korean to UM students in their Direct Independent Language Studies program.

In Miami, my music creativity has grown and I have met amazing musicians. From 2011 to the present, I have arranged, composed, and continue to perform in various fields.

I believe my various experiences will help me teach you to learn the piano in any style you choose. Doesn’t matter who you are, what your experiences are, I will guide you to learn the piano, whether it be for professional reasons or recreationally.

I am a patient teacher who can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English fluently when I teach Korean. I had been to Korean several times for exchange study, and I was also teaching Korean to some Qualcomm engineers that need to work with Samsung company in San Diego. Recently I moved to New York, and I am currently based in SoHo area as well as East Village area. I usually prefer to teach in Starbucks which makes me and my student easy to access all the time. My class usually focus on oral practice and cultural experience, however, the content of the class can be adjusted upon request. Thank you for choosing my class!

About Jingting
Hello! My name is Rubyanne, and I am a GradStudent in Fordham University. I can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and English fluently. Therefore, I can always use the language other than English on teaching Korean or Chinese upon request. I used to be the Korean tutor of some Qualcomm Engineers in San Diego in order to help them getting achievements on working with Samsung company. Moreover, I used to teach Asian culture to K-12 students in San Diego schools. I enjoy the way to share the culture I am familiar with to those people who are interested in learning new culture. In addition, as my speaking ability of all the languages I can use are considered outstanding, I will be your good partner on doing oral practice, too!

Introduction to Violin Music Notes
The violin is often considered by musicians to be one of the most challenging instruments to learn. Its roots trace back many centuries and it was clearly a definitive instrument in shaping classical music all over the world. One of the reasons it is considered a difficult instrument to learn is that it's a fretless string instrument, making violin music notes appear to be inexact, yet fingering must still be done with precision. The reward for learning this sweet-sounding elegant instrument, ho
