Fluent English speaker. Teaching degree (music) and experience teaching students of all grades and levels!
I've been teaching private lessons for over 15 years. I was a high school music teacher & band director in the Philadelphia area for 7 years, and I now live in Miami, FL where I am working on a doctoral degree in conducting. I also work as a freelance musician. I'm looking forward to making music with you!
Your lesson specifics are up to you! If you know what you want to learn, I'll help get you there. If you don't know where to start, I can lead you through the fundamentals and help you set goals.
I like to keep things positive in music lessons. Music is, after all, for fun and enjoyment! I like to blend teaching technique and musicianship, while keeping things fun.
If you're a beginner, we'll get started with all the fundamentals you need to begin making music. If you've been playing for a while, I'll help you perfect
things you've been working on, expand your musical experience, and help you reach your fullest potential as a musician.
Online lessons are a wonderful option! I am flexible with scheduling and allow changes up to 24-hours before a scheduled lesson. My home studio has chairs, music stand, and areas for parents to sit in on lessons. Garage band is available for recording. Students need an instrument and books.
Tina has provided our daughter 11 year old daughter with outstanding lessons as a beginning trumpet player this past summer! Not only was our daughter able to skip beginning band and be placed into the more advance concert band with the 1st trumpets, she received an invite from her well known director of bands to participate in the school’s Big Band. Our daughter is quickly improving on her playing skills.
Tina will always be remembered as the primary influence behind her aspirations to play the trumpet the right way!
I've been teaching English for 7 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of the American culture, study abroad, and more! Within the first few lessons, you'll start speaking simple sentences and as time goes on, you'll be able to conjugate like a pro!
I love teaching, I can teach you at where you at and take you where you need to be. I only need a student with the desire to learn and to practice.
I like to help students realize they have the intelligence and ability to solve the problems on their own, they just need the right direction. Nothing is too difficult once we understand how to do it!
I'm a classical violinist, a loving single mother, and a independent business owner for life, health and accident insurance through AFLAC from New York. I am a very accomplished musician performing in many venues and events such as the Long Island String Festival, NYC All County Music Festivals, Valley stream District 13 Music Festival, NY All State Concert, NYSMMA Music competitions, and yes even Carnegie Hall with the NY Metropolitan Youth Principle Orchestra 1st Violin. Ive learned that nothing of value in life comes without blood sweat and tears but it is worth it.
The things I love most in life are my son and providing for our family. On week days, you'll usually find me prospecting potential clients to help with their benefits for employees in any type of weather, for my independent business through AFLAC. On the weekends I like
to take my son with my dogs (sometimes) to the park, museums, and church or teach him the various wonders of life.

I focus on getting students comfortable and capable of communicating in English functionally and conversationally.
If you have never spoken any English before, or if you are already feeling very comfortable speaking English, I can work with you! I work with students who have never seen the English alphabet, but also with highly advanced business professionals. I adjust to your comprehension level.
Hello! My name is Pauline.
I work with students of all levels, and I adjust to your comprehension level. I focus on getting students comfortable and capable of communicating in English functionally and conversationally.
I am a native English speaker, and I have worked in the United States school system since 2010. I have a Master's degree in education. I'm licensed to teach all ages, preschool to adults, and I have a TEFL certification.
International-level English Fluency - - What if I told you there is one achievement every non-native English professional has to master to be able to succeed fully? That, if you have not achieved this, regardless of how well your career is going, you will not be as successful as you could be? This extremely important achievement? Being able to speak English confidently at international levels. As an English fluency coach who has a lot of experience working with foreign professionals, my goal is to help you improve your fluency through regular conversations and give you confidence in your ability. I know that the best way to do this is for you to have regular conversations with a native English speaker.
How does this work? I make gentle corrections in pronunciation and usage as we chat. As you become absorbed in our interesting conversations, you will suddenly realize that you are THINKING in English. That's when you gain confidence.
Who am I? I am a US native professional, with ...
Because I have a variety of interests, I've had the opportunity to work in several fields. My careers have included: 9th grade English and reading teacher; paralegal; legal editor; consultant; mediator; attorney; Philosophy professor; and English coach for foreign professionals. Teaching was involved in almost all of these because connecting with people through the learning process is a great gift.
My education credentials are: B.S. English & Philosophy (Magna Cum Laude); M.A. Education & Philosophy; and a J.D. from Florida State University. I also have teaching licenses from Kentucky and Florida, mediator certification, and am a member of the Florida Bar.
I have resided in the U.S. state of Florida for most of my adult life. Living near the ocean and being able to spend time outside every day are essential to me. Some things I enjoy
doing: traveling, reading, walking on the beach and in the woods, biking, hanging out with friends. My household includes three furred beings: Jax, a greyhound-mix, and Simon and Sienna, my two wise tabbies. All three are rescues. In the past, I have also had horses in my life. Multi-species interactions, in my opinion, make us more fully human.
As my student, you can expect to always be treated respectfully and from the beginning, I will focus on providing lessons that are tailored to your individual needs.
If your English is at an intermediate level or higher and you want to improve your fluency, please contact me to discuss class options.
