My son is severly dyslexic and Nolan has been amazing. We used a different takelessons instructor for 6 months before we found Nolan and the difference in my son amd his level of playing has been substantial. We have been with Nolan for about 7 months, he is kind, patient, and very knowledgeable.

Luther stays where I’m at and then helps me go the next step. That is useful for consistent gradual progress without the frustrations of moving either too slow or too fast (I am a beginning tenor saxophone player). Nice interpersonal style, patient and easy going, while methodical.

I think Luther is great. He works with my 10-year old son on piano, singing and even trumpet and violin as needed. My son has to work hard to progress, and Luther customizes the lesson plan for him and seems to understand him well. I'm really excited about them working together.

I have had the pleasure of working with Ethan for two years at Stokes Forest Music Camp in northern New Jersey. This program takes place in July for two weeks and consists of talented students from ages 12 to 17. They are involved in many great activities such as orchestra, band, chamber ensembles, rock band, jazz band, and musical theatre. As a fellow teacher here at Stokes (French horn and Music Theory), Ethan and I have joined forces to promote a fun and effective teaching environment for the camp's Brass Ensemble. Ethan was the driving force behind this group, and without his enthusiasm and patience, this ensemble surely would not succeed! His teaching methods kept the students involved, and they definitely had lots of fun last year performing New Orleans jazz (without music!).
