Wow! This lady was oozing knowledge galore! Not only she knows what she claims, but she quickly sees other marketing aspects of the cyberworld and shortcomings of the website! She is extremely talented lady who cares about what she does. She is worldly and helpful with invaluable suggestions to improve SEO qualities of the site!

Initially, I have committed to only one session. I have purchased 3 more sessions. Donna ROCKS!!!

About Corey
Hi my name is Corey, I'm currently a full-time student in the Bay Area. I'm pursuing a degree in Computer Science and I'm a huge nerd when it comes to math and other subjects of science. I have a strong passion for helping other students just like myself excel in their academic goals!

I began tutoring once I got back in school. At first, it started off as a little side gig I didn't I think much of; for me, it was a fun act of kindness that also gave me a chance to better understand material I already knew. It was after I got positive feedback from students when I realized tutoring is something I really enjoy and started taking far more seriously.

As a tutor the most effective approach I found is to first make sure my students have a firm grasp on the first principles involved and expand from there by taking a deeper dive into the
abstract of the concept at hand. I always teach in general notation along with a visual basis as this greatly helps my students better understand the concepts they're learning. From here I transition into individual and situational cases giving my student a chance to show me how well they are understanding the lesson.

The goal I set for myself as a tutor is to be sure that my students understand every topic covered on the same level that I understand it myself. So far in my approach this has shown to be the best method in achieving this goal. Most of the students I've worked with were on the verge of failing their classes and in fact these are the student I like to focus on b/c it gives me the opportunity to show that my approach to learning works, with everyone of my students finishing out their semester nothing short of a B.

If you're interested in taking one of my lessons and think my approach to learning is something that will work for you, please contact me and let's get that A this semester!

Corey has been the best tutor I've learned from! I started taking lessons with him about half way through a semester that I was taking trig. At this time I had a D in the class and was completely lost during lectures, just after two lessons with him my understanding in trig sky rocketed, I was able to move my grade from a D to a B! There's no way I could've done this without his help!

About Elizabeth
I am a Science teacher besides my experience as a English and Spanish tutor, working in this field for more than 6 years. I graduated from Vincennes University with an Associate Degree in Environmental and Ecological Engineering. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering at The National Polytechnic University, also known as EPN in Quito, Ecuador.
At the age of 19, I started working as a professor of Abstract Reasoning and Exact Sciences at Stephen W. Hawking Institute in Ecuador, my home country. Eventually, I had the opportunity of training at different Departments as a STEM , Spanish and English tutor at Vincennes Univ., IN, USA from 2016 to 2018.
I strongly believe that we all should be determined to find a career that would be our passion and reflects our life goal as well. This perspectiv
e encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone to become a scholarship student sponsored by Ecuador’s government on 2015; that very August I started my studies at USA. That opportunity represented the commencement that I was looking for my journey Environmental Eng. focused on Nanotechnology.
All these once in a lifetime events have maked me realize that one of my passions in life is the opportunity to share knowledge constantly, as well as, to help individuals eager to improve even when some details appear to be insignificant. Indeed, the process of teaching-learning actually represents such an enriching academic and personal experience.
Assuredly, obstacles really do not matter when we strive for more innovation and knowledge, because the universe always falls in love with a stubborn soul; so let's get started!

About Carlos
Before we begin classes, I meet with each new student live to discuss goals and materials, answer any questions and explain how online classes work. By identifying a SMART goal, I can create a more effective action plan and choose the best materials to help students reach their goals - all before they have had to pay for a class. Students can see their action plan so they know what we will be working on 1-2 months in advance. This also helps them see progress after each and every class.

My classes are 100% in Spanish to give students the immersion experience. Don´t worry about language barriers - because classes are planned for your level. I use many visuals on the materials to introduce new grammar and vocabulary, as well as corrections and notes throughout the class. Your pronunciation and fluency will improve quicker with my classe
s. In addition, I am a native Mexican Spanish speaker and can provide guidance on sounding more natural, using idioms and other common phrases, and the use of difficult topics like the preterite/imperfect or using the subjunctive.

I have been teaching for over 5 years in language centers and bilingual schools, as well as online with private students. I have a degree from the Universidad Veracruzana in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (Enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera). Currently, my wife and I both teach online and create self-paced courses and Spanish language materials.

To make the online classes as effective as in person ones, we will use Zoom as a videoconferencing software and an online whiteboard to collaborate on the materials together. This allows us to communicate in real time and all of your materials are automatically saved, in order, so they are easily accessible from any computer, smartphone or tablet. You can even take classes on any device if you need to!

Ongoing speaking evaluations are done on a monthly basis and recorded so that students can see their progress over time. Additional assessments are available if requested, as well as DELE exam preparation.

If you have a question or want to meet live to discuss your goals and how I can help, please don´t hesitate to contact me.

Hello, I'm Sonya! I have a Bachelors Arts Degree in English and I am a high school English teacher in the United States of America. I have taught ESL/ESOL to adults and students for many years and each lesson is tailored to the need of the student. Rather it's conversational, accent, grammar, or all. Many students have effectively learned English and have attended college, got the job they wanted or just became confident speakers of the language. I was also an ESOL/ESL teacher for five years in two other countries. I can assure you that you will receive the education you are looking for to meet your needs. In addition to teaching ESOL/ESL, I am also an effective reading comprehension teacher. I assess my students at the beginning, in the middle and at the end to track their progress and because I am organized and well prepared each studen
t will understand and learn the information in order. There are rules in English, but they do not always apply, so I give them simplified examples so that they can understand what English, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary, and Spelling is all about. I always start at the beginning by unlocking all the secret elements of the alphabet and learning. To see just how I do this send me a message if you have any additional questions or schedule a session to witness how I impact students' lives every day.

I met Sonya eight years ago and she worked with both of my daughters. I was amazed to see how well my girls increased in their Writing. They both struggled with this and when Sonya worked with them in English and Reading explaining the rules and how they work and not work everything else fell in place. Her teaching method starts from the letters in the alphabet. It's a must see!

About Taylor
Hi, I'm Taylor! I am graduating from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media & Entertainment and a Minor in History. As an elementary and middle school student, I found that sometimes I needed a little help understanding material in class. Due to tutoring, I am now a successful college student with a 3.75+ GPA and worked as a researcher for the History Colorado Museum. I have nearly 2 years of tutoring experience in history, music, theatre, and english as well as 1.5 years of experience teaching after school theatre enrichment courses. My past students' ages range from 7 to 75, so I can work with almost any demographic.

Each student gets their own lesson plan. Education is not "one size fits all" and some students have particular needs or struggles. Lesson plans are constructed using th
e most recent and up-to-date information; I also make sure to include time to help student's with their school work if needed. I also love to include subjects that students may enjoy or have specific interest in.

I love tutoring because it gives me a chance to give back to my community and the future generations who will eventually take my place. The twinkle that students get in their eye when they find a subject they are passionate about is why I teach.

I want the tutoring process to be as comfortable and beneficial as possible. If students or parents would like to suggest any resources, they are welcome. I am easy to reach and try to respond as soon as possible to any questions or concerns. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson.
