I have been teaching drawing since 2001..I am available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of drawing/painting skills. I specialize in wild life...
Students will have simple step-by-step instructions make it fun and easy to draw lifelike animal friends, Just start with basic shapes and follow the illustrated examples and they will be creating their own amazing masterpieces in no time at all.

About Kelvin
I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str
ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

Kelvin is a phenomenal teacher of classical guitar. Our teenage son wanted to take classical lessons for a while, after having happily done a couple years with School of Rock. He and Kelvin meshed well, and I feel our son learned a lot over the course of a couple more years.

When one of us had a schedule conflict, we had the ability to do a lesson via Skype. Let me tell you, that came in mighty handy in the winter of 2019.

Schedule with Kelvin; I am certain you'll be glad that you did.

In my spare time, I've taught for the last 15 years. I've tutored actual BSA students. I love drawing. I love teaching art. It is an expression of an individual's personal journey.

The most fabulous thing about being an artist is that boundaries regarding creativity are non-existent. The artist is always in a state of learning. Art is a progressive practice that takes time to develop.

Materials are not included.
Materials needed are pencil, paper and a willingness to explore.
Drawing lessons will be assessed based on the individual's current abilities and their goals.

About Sharron
My resume includes graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts and continued studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art until I decided I didn’t want to be a “Starving Artist”. So, I graduated from the University of Baltimore with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources Management. My education also includes 27 graduate credits that were leading to a Master’s in Public Administration when I decided to discontinue that path. After twenty-five years in the public sector, I decided to revisit my passion for art in my spare time. As a youngster, I remember wanting to teach art in schools, but I did not want the restrictions that are present in the classrooms and more so today. All forms of art is a freeing practice that is practiced and developed over time. Art is very therapeutic.

I've taught and currently consult with former and current Baltimore School for the Arts visual arts students. For mor information, website at jfa-studios.com.

I am a recently retired public high school art teacher and also have experience teaching middle school. I have many many years of experience helping students succeed at all traditional mediums of art as well as graphic design. I received many awards for my teaching including two "teacher of the year" awards.

About J. Paul
Teaching art has always been my passion and my students respond well to me and my teaching style. Many of my students have gone from not even knowing that they had any real artistic ability to going on to pursue college level art or pursueing artistic careers. I have students from years ago that will still contact me for art related questions and some who have become close friends. I believe that my nearly 2 1/2 decades of teaching art in a public school has made me capable of the patience and caring needed to teach any and all learning styles. We can start at whatever skill level you are currently at.

I took painting lessons about 10 years ago and haven’t done anything since. I brought a 1/2 finished painting. Maggie was great helping me set up and seeing where I was and what I remembered. Then showed me some techniques to help get me going. I’m looking forward to our next lesson.

Hi! I am a Certified Zentangle (R) Teacher (CZT). Zentangle is a method of art that breaks down complicated patterns into a manageable step by step process. It is a very mindful and meditative art form used for stress management, pain management, attention to detail, fine motor skills, and so much more!

If you can write I, C, S, and O, you can tangle! Guaranteed. Ages 7-107

About Debbie
Hi! I am so excited to bring the art of tangling to you! I am a Certified Zentangle®️ Teacher and love teaching kids to silver-seniors 🌞. I retired from Occupational Therapy after 25 years and decided to explore different art forms. I discovered tangling and became addicted! It is so much fun, and it has lots of benefits, too. Studies are showing that it truly has a zen-like quality in helping people with anxiety, pain management, stress reduction, increased handwriting and fine motor coordination as well as attention to detail and concentration. The beauty of this is that you do not need to be an "artist" to enjoy it....if you can write I, C, S, and O you can do it....really!

I am looking forward to meeting you and sharing this amazing art form.

Many blessings!!

Relax your mind and let your passion for creativity surface. I provide drawing lessons for those who seek relaxation, stress relief, or even for students who simply wish to improve their skills. One lesson with me and stick figures will be a thing of the past! Let’s get started!

About Salina
I am finishing my senior year at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. I will be receiving a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice in the Spring of 2020. I love aspiring creative minds. I teach three classes: drawing, psychology, and Spanish.

Drawing has been a passion of mine since I was a young girl. I am self-taught, and found that I enjoy teaching it. I taught my younger sister, whom had no interest in drawing until she was a teenager. She now studies art at McNeese State University, and teaches painting classes at the local Painting with a Twist studio. Upon receiving her Bachelor's, she plans on owning her own PWAT studio. I am truly proud of her!

As a current student, psychology is fresh on the brain. I can be a great tutor rather than teacher if you need assistance, or if you are interested
in learning something new. The human mind is brilliant, and I would love to show you!

I have a Puerto Rican father, and I am self-taught in Spanish. My father was occupied with his career in the U.S. Army to stay consistent with my Spanish language development during my childhood. To learn a second language, all it takes it motivation, hard work, and dedication. Nothing is impossible!

I look forward to helping students reach their best potential in my classes!
