My main instruments are Clarinet, Drums, and Saxophone, but i also have a strong background in Piano, Trumpet, and Flute. I've taken private music lessons for the past 15 years with world class musicians, among them David Weber and Howard Hirsch. I've performed in every major concert hall in New York City, including Carnegie Hall when i was only 11 years old. I performed alongside many famous musicians, including the late Tito Puente.

*** Lesson Details ***
My teaching includes all aspects of music; Musical theory, sight singing, as well as Music History. My teaching style allows the child to have fun while they learn their instrument, but I emph
asize a strong practice regiment. Your child will understand that while learning music and an instrument can be fun, there will be some work involved if they want to become great. I usually use either the Alfred or Rubank method books to supplement a curriculum that I tailor make for each individual student. Any question or confusion a student has about anything during the lesson will be explained in detail and dealt with until he/she understands the concept. I've had many students pass all levels of the ABRSM and NYSSMA exams as well as receive academic scholarships for musical excellence.

David came on time for our schedule lesson and came in ready to go. He helped my son the corrected way to blow trumpet (which he never learn from school) and broke down lesson so that he is not over wheeled. In just first lesson, I can hear the difference in my son's use of trumpet.

*** Lesson Details ***
I am a laid-back teacher, fun, and I focus on the needs, abilities, and ambitions of the student. In turn, students must realize that learning an instrument takes a lot of work and dedication. One can't expect to learn very much if s/he only practices or thinks about the instrument during the lesson. If the student is willing to put some time into practicing, then I will help them go far!

*** Studi
o Equipment ***
I have several guitars, a drum kit, djembe, mandolin, clarinet and full-size keyboard.

Out of all teachers and Gleb is the expert in so many ways teaching and applying the lessons to stick and to create a great Saxaphone player. He has so many techniques in his arsenal to make any student become a Saxaphone player and a good one. His patience, his depth of understanding the music and the student and how to apply make it click. He works for the music and for the student rather than anything else. Gleb, please keep on teaching. You aren't just a teacher, you are a music therapist and a professional one of a kind. Saxophone teacher of 7 years, specializing in the beginner and intermediate levels. All ages are welcome. Whether you want to pick up the saxophone as a hobby or you'd like to be a professional saxophonist, I'll help you get on your way. I can teach you classical or jazz, depending on your needs and interests. Message me if you'd like to get started!

About Zachary
I am an instrumental performance student at New York University, specializing in oboe. I am also a woodwind doubler who freelances with orchestras, opera companies, and musical theatre troupes throughout New York.

Every instrument has its challenges, but I am confident that I can make each one enjoyable and rewarding. The oboe is my specialty -- it is a difficult, demanding instrument that yields very high rewards -- but am proficient in and able to teach clarinet, and saxophone. Students can expect to make improvements each week and, before long, be capable of playing standard repertoire and be able to perform in groups with other musicians.

In addition to being a performance student, I am training for my masters in music education. I have been teaching woodwinds privately for seven years, oboe for four. I have played oboe for six
years and have been playing music for fourteen. I can work with students of all ages and can teach students to read music and play their chosen instrument beautifully and musically,
