Book NowI am a classically trained violinist and violist passionate about helping my violin and viola students develop a love for music and for their instrument by way of a solid technical foundation and efficient practicing skills. Though I am most familiar with the Essential Elements and Suzuki lesson books, I am willing to use a different method book should you have one available. I welcome students with special needs, and am thoroughly versed in the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic violin and viola repertoire.

Lessons with me will be a unique experience because along with learning the basic fundamentals of hand drumming, but we will learn how to listen to those around us in order to have an all encompassing experience. It will be light, fun, informative, and we will go at whatever pace feels good for you, the student! I've been around drumming and drum circles for over ten years now and have come to have a very individual, impactful style for those around me. I look forward to sharing what I know!
About Jessica
Drumming is one of my life’s deepest passions. I was introduced to the art at The Great Blue Heron Music Festival drum circle. I was captivated by the scene: dozens of people creating impromptu rhythms together, on the spot, giving others sounds to dance to around the massive bonfire, all feeling t

If you want to get started with guitar, I'm the one you've been looking for. I'll get you started with basic theory, then I'll gradually move on to more advanced topics. I have a good background in this subject. I've actually taught this subject to a student who already had seven years experience; he didn't know how to put chords together in the right way. Guitar can be fun!

After being 'school-teachered' by my first instructor I was a little discouraged about my ability to sing, and to get the nuances of musical theory.
Stephen helped build my confidence and got me singling whole songs quickly. He demonstrated simple techniques that enabled me to make the most out of my vocal range while being encouraging every step of the way. He accompanied my singling with piano changing from harmony to chords as I master the harmony and tempo. We added guitar from time to time.
Stephen's experiences as a professional musician gave me some insights in the art and craft of performance which we discussed between pieces.
I highly recommend Stephen."
Ich habe es genossen ihn auf der Geige spielen zu hören. Er nahm mich mit in musikalische Sphären, die ich bis dahin nicht erreicht hatte.
Danke, lieber Nikita! Mach weiter so!"
